- A short idea for the song’s story or message.

- A Suno account. Suno is available on the web, iOS, and Android.
Keep the first brief specific but readable. Avoid stacking contradictory directions such as “quiet and huge” or “very short and fully developed.”

- Open Suno. Use the web app or its iOS or Android app and start a new song-generation request.
- Choose your lyric approach. Paste section-labeled lyrics when exact wording matters, or describe the theme and ask for generated lyrics.
- Paste the musical brief. Include the subject, mood, structure, instruments, and vocal direction in one consistent description.
- Generate multiple versions. Treat each result as a draft. Compare whether the chorus communicates the idea, whether the vocal tone fits the subject, and whether the arrangement leaves room for the important words.
- Keep the strongest draft. Select the version with the clearest lyric delivery and the most useful structure, even if its production is not finished.
- Extend a promising section. If the song ends before the story resolves, use Suno’s extension capability and describe what the next section must accomplish, such as “a bridge that admits doubt, followed by a final chorus with fuller harmonies.”
- Replace a weak section. Use section replacement when a verse, chorus, or transition misses the brief. State the problem and the replacement goal rather than rewriting the whole song.
- Remix when the idea works but the treatment does not. Ask for a different arrangement while preserving the song’s central subject and lyric intent.
- Export stems when you need separate parts. Suno supports stem export, but the Free Plan does not include stem separation. Check the active plan before relying on this step.
