Overview

PTE Tutorials is an online exam-preparation platform for PTE Academic and IELTS, with AI-supported practice and optional live coaching. It is best suited to candidates who want structured practice and feedback, particularly for speaking and writing. Its free app offers a low-commitment way to begin, while the pause on new practice-test purchases makes it a less dependable choice for anyone who needs mock tests immediately.

Key features

The AI Tutor starts with a diagnostic assessment, then sets a personalized seven-day curriculum and tracks progress. It covers all 22 question types in the current PTE Academic format, including two speaking tasks introduced in August 2025. After practice responses, it returns task-level feedback, scores and explanations in real time. That combination can help learners spot weak areas and focus their practice; those who need a teacher to explain a persistent problem will get more direct guidance through coaching.

Practice tests offer exam simulation, module timers, analytics, comparisons between attempts and score prediction. These features give candidates several ways to review performance, but new purchases linked to the existing system are unavailable while it is upgraded to a new AI-powered system. Do not make this your only plan for mock tests if you need to buy them now.

The mobile app advertises free unlimited practice, expert tip videos and free practice questions. It is a useful starting point for learners who want practice on a phone, though the free app’s advertised materials should not be mistaken for access to every paid offering.

The four-week online coaching program is the more intensive option: Pearson-certified PTE trainers lead live interactive classes, with one-hour sessions five days a week. Recordings remain accessible for six weeks, which gives students a way to revisit lessons. Classes may use Google Meet, and Chrome or Firefox is recommended. Coaching has a three-day refund policy subject to conditions; purchased practice materials are not refundable. The company says it follows the Australian Privacy Principles and uses physical, electronic and managerial safeguards for personal information. Customer care is offered by phone, WhatsApp and email, with 24/7 availability.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes free practice questions, model answers and mobile application access. It is the sensible starting point for learners who want to try the materials without paying, but it does not include the paid AI-scored question allocation in Super AI.

Super AI has custom pricing and 15 days validity, with 500 AI-scored speaking sample questions. That defined question allowance may suit a candidate looking for a short, focused speaking-practice period, but it is not an unlimited resource. The four-week coaching program is also offered, but its price is custom pricing. Its live classes and recordings suit learners who value scheduled instruction; candidates seeking only self-directed practice may not need that commitment.

Although mock tests are part of the platform, new purchases tied to the existing system are unavailable during the upgrade. Purchased practice materials are nonrefundable, so check that the specific material you need can be purchased before committing.

Platforms

PTE Tutorials supports web, iOS and Android. The mobile app is a particular draw for learners who want practice questions and tip videos on a phone, while web access suits those using a browser for study or classes.

Who it's for

Candidates preparing for PTE Academic are the clearest fit, especially those who want AI-scored speaking practice, a short study plan and performance tracking. Users can choose PTE Academic or IELTS at sign-up and switch modules in their profile, making the service relevant to IELTS candidates as well. Learners who need a person-led explanation or regular structure may prefer the live coaching; those whose priority is buying practice tests now should look elsewhere until purchases resume.

Pros and cons

Pros: The AI Tutor combines a diagnostic, seven-day curriculum and real-time task feedback across 22 PTE Academic question types, giving candidates a concrete structure for practice.

Pros: Coaching provides frequent live classes led by Pearson-certified trainers, with six weeks of recording access for review.
Cons: New purchases of existing-system practice tests are paused during the upgrade, limiting its usefulness for candidates who need to buy mock tests now.
Cons: Super AI is valid for 15 days and caps the offering at 500 AI-scored speaking sample questions.
Cons: Coaching requires a four-week program, while its refund window is only three days and subject to conditions; purchased practice materials are not refundable.

Verdict

PTE Tutorials is a good fit for PTE Academic or IELTS candidates who want structured AI-supported practice, with live coaching available when automated feedback is not enough. The free plan and mobile app make it easy to start, but the purchase pause for existing-system practice tests is the main reason to choose another provider if buying mock tests is an immediate priority.
