Overview

Codebase indexing, terminal access and web browsing extend Agentforce Vibes beyond inline suggestions and chat. Scheduled runs and human approvals add automation with a review checkpoint, a combination that may suit developers who want an agent to handle work in stages rather than respond only to individual prompts. The breadth is a strength for agent-oriented workflows, but developers seeking only autocomplete may find more here than they need.

Key features

Code completion and chat cover two familiar forms of coding assistance; the coding agent adds a more autonomous mode. Indexing can make project context relevant to assistance, while terminal access and web browsing broaden the agent's working context. Scheduled runs are useful for recurring tasks, and human approvals offer a way to retain oversight. Together these features are promising for developers who want to combine assistance and automation, though the feature set alone does not establish how well the agent performs on a particular project.

Users can choose Agentforce Vibes IDE or Visual Studio Code. That choice helps teams that want a dedicated editor as well as those who prefer to remain in VS Code. Web and iOS and Android access extend the platform range, although the product's core capabilities are aimed at coding workflows.

Pricing

Salesforce Foundations costs 0.00 USD per free and includes Agentforce Vibes. It is the straightforward starting point for individuals or teams evaluating the tool without a paid commitment.

Flex Credits costs 500.00 USD per month for 100,000 credits. This model suits buyers who prefer a defined credit allowance, but the credit total matters: expected usage should fit within it. Flat Fee Access costs 125.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes multiple AI models, flat-fee usage and a predictable monthly cost. It is a better fit for users who value a fixed monthly charge over a credit allocation.

The starting note of $125/user/mo does not align clearly with the plan prices, which are presented as monthly amounts without a per-user basis. Buyers should distinguish the stated plan terms rather than assume the $125 rate applies to every paid option. No trial terms or seat counts are given for these plans.

Platforms

Agentforce Vibes supports web, iOS and Android, and its coding environments are Agentforce Vibes IDE and Visual Studio Code. The IDE choices are the most relevant distinction for daily development; mobile access broadens reach but does not replace an editor-based coding workflow.

Who it's for

Choose Agentforce Vibes if you want code completion and chat alongside an indexed codebase, terminal access, browsing and an agent that can run on a schedule with human approvals. The free Salesforce Foundations plan makes it approachable for a first evaluation, while the paid options serve users ready to choose between credits and flat-fee usage. It is less compelling if you need only basic suggestions or require a clearly per-seat comparison across paid plans.

Pros and cons

Pros: Code completion, chat and a coding agent combine multiple assistance modes.
Pros: Codebase indexing, terminal access and web browsing offer broader context for agent work.
Pros: Scheduled runs with human approvals balance automation with oversight.
Pros: A free plan and two IDE options lower the barrier to trying it and choosing an editor.
Cons: The $125/user/mo starting note is difficult to reconcile with the monthly plan prices.
Cons: The 100,000-credit Flex plan requires buyers to judge whether the allowance fits their usage.

Alternatives

The alternatives in this directory are primarily configure-price-quote and contract-management products, not direct coding-assistant substitutes. For a CPQ-focused shortlist, start with Configure Price Quote Software; explore AI Agent Builders, AI Customer Service Agents, Conversational AI Platforms, AI Agent Platforms or Contact Center Software when those categories better match the job.

Choose Epicor Kinetic if you need a product spanning Android, iOS, web, Windows, API and self-hosted platforms. Configure to WIN is a freemium option for CPQ users who can work within a free plan capped at two users and one approval group, with no approval submission or document generation. Kugamon may fit a Salesforce organization seeking CPQ for quotes and orders: its CPQ plan is $65.00 USD per year, billed annually, described as $65 per user per month, with a 10-user minimum and 12-month term.

camos CPQ 365 is another paid CPQ option, with cloud or on-premise deployment and custom pricing. Conga CLM is a paid contract lifecycle management alternative. Experlogix CPQ offers a free trial and a demo request. Vendavo CPQ is a paid CPQ product with API and web platforms. Configure One is a paid web-based CPQ option with pricing available by request.

Verdict

Agentforce Vibes is a strong fit for developers who want an agent-centered coding assistant with project context, several working modes and both scheduled execution and human review. Its free plan and IDE choice make it worth considering; look elsewhere if you need a simpler completion tool or want paid pricing that is plainly comparable on a per-user basis.
