Overview

Campaigns, scheduled sharing, employee training, content approval, and reporting bring the work of organizing an advocacy program into one platform. Ambassify also serves employer branding, dealer advocacy, thought leadership, and social selling, so it can support programs beyond employees sharing corporate updates. Automatic verification of employee shares adds accountability to participation.

Participation tools include leaderboards, points, badges, levels, goals, and rewards. These give organizers several ways to encourage activity, though teams should choose incentives that suit their culture rather than treating volume alone as success.

Key features

Employees can share content to LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Multilingual campaigns come with every tier, and the platform officially supports 11 languages—a useful foundation for programs spanning regions. Microsoft Teams and Zapier integrations are offered; Salesforce, webhooks, and Strava are also listed in Ambassify’s legal center.

Every plan includes UTM tracking and social engagement metrics, enough to connect campaign links with engagement reporting. Enterprise adds BI integration and custom exports for tools such as Power BI and Tableau, which matter more to organizations bringing advocacy data into broader reporting workflows. Analytics is basic outside those Enterprise additions.

Ambassify is ISO 27001:2022 certified and says it receives an external security audit each year. It says customer data is hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU and that it is GDPR compliant. Its stated AI approach keeps processing on its own EU AWS infrastructure, without sending customer data to OpenAI’s public API or using it to train AI models.

Support is offered in English, Dutch, and French on weekdays during business hours, through in-app tickets, email, and phone. That gives customers several contact routes, but the weekday schedule may not suit teams needing round-the-clock assistance.

Pricing

Ambassify is paid, has no free plan, and uses custom pricing for all three employee-count tiers. A tailored quote makes the price dependent on the organization’s requirements rather than a published per-seat rate; buyers should establish the full cost and terms during the sales process.

Essential: for up to 200 employees, with custom pricing. Its lower employee ceiling suits smaller advocacy programs, but it does not come with a public price for straightforward budget comparisons.
Premium: for 200–500 employees, with custom pricing. It is the relevant tier for mid-sized programs; the employee range is the clearest published distinction from Essential.
Enterprise: for more than 500 employees, with custom pricing. Its BI integration and custom exports suit organizations needing advocacy data in tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Multilingual campaigns and UTM tracking with social engagement metrics are included in every tier, so those capabilities are not reserved for the higher employee bands. No free option makes Ambassify a poor fit for a small team wanting to validate a program before committing to a quote.

Platforms

Ambassify runs on the web, Android, and iOS. The iPhone and Android apps provide mobile access alongside the web platform. Single sign-on is supported.

Who it's for

Ambassify is most compelling for organizations with a defined advocacy program, especially those coordinating campaigns across languages or using employee participation to support employer branding, dealer advocacy, thought leadership, or social selling. Teams that need verified sharing and engagement measures get a more accountable workflow than a basic content-distribution process.

It is less suited to organizations seeking a free entry point, published prices, or deeper analytics in every tier. Smaller organizations should also check that the employee-count bands align with their intended program size.

Pros and cons

Pros: multilingual campaigns and 11 supported languages across all tiers help regional programs operate within one platform.
Pros: automatic share verification, content approval, and scheduled sharing support coordinated, accountable campaigns.
Pros: UTM tracking and social engagement metrics are included at every tier; Enterprise adds BI integration and custom exports.
Cons: every plan requires a custom quote, and there is no free plan, making early evaluation and budget comparison harder.
Cons: Enterprise is the only tier identified with BI integration and custom exports, while analytics is otherwise basic.
Cons: support is limited to weekdays during business hours, which may not fit organizations needing help outside that window.

Alternatives

For organizations comparing adjacent advocacy and referral products, Mention Me is a paid alternative with a free plan and API and web platforms; its Essentials and Advanced tiers focus on referral experiences and customer acquisition or retention. UserEvidence offers a free tier at no cost, billed forever, with 500 evidence items, 100 MCP searches per month, and three team members, making it worth considering when a no-cost evidence workflow is the priority rather than Ambassify’s employee-sharing program.

SlapFive is another paid alternative, with a free trial and API and web platforms. Vocal Video may suit teams seeking a freemium, web-based video workflow: its free plan is free, billed free forever, and includes five published videos and five video editors. LunchTable is a paid, web-based alternative.

Influitive is a paid alternative with a customer advocacy plan covering activation and advocacy, personalization and targeting, loyalty and rewards, pre-built templates and campaigns, and analytics and ROI reporting. Duel is a paid API and web option with custom enterprise pricing and a personalized demo. Listen360 is a paid web platform priced per location or by request volume, which may make it more relevant when that pricing basis matches the buyer’s needs.

Verdict

Choose Ambassify if your organization needs a managed advocacy program with verified sharing, multilingual campaigns, participation incentives, and reporting across defined employee-count tiers. Its strongest case is combining campaign coordination with verification and measurement. Look elsewhere if you need transparent pricing, a free starting point, or richer analytics without moving to Enterprise.
