Overview

Billo combines a creator marketplace with tools for producing and evaluating creator advertising. It suits brands that need both sourced content and a way to connect creative decisions to ad performance. Its per-video upfront pricing and ad-account requirement for full CreativeOps access make the workflow less suitable for teams seeking a simple, account-free content purchase.

Key features

Creator sourcing and production

Brands can source vetted human creators for video or photo projects, with options for organic posting, paid ad partnerships, and expert editing. Review and approvals and usage rights management support a managed production process. Two rounds of edit requests per video provide a defined opportunity to refine delivery, while typical turnaround of 7 to 12 business days starts only after the creator receives the product.

Partnership ads are supported through Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads. Brands pay upfront per video; that price includes creator payout, Billo software, and transaction fees. This bundles the production charge, but means teams should account for the per-video commitment before ordering.

CreativeOps and analytics

CreativeOps can generate data-backed scripts, recommend creators, analyze ad performance, and make variations from existing footage. Connecting an ad account is required to unlock all of its features. A connected Meta account provides read-only creator ad metrics including ROAS, Hook Rate, and CTR, which can help teams assess creative performance without granting write access through that connection.

Pricing

Billo uses a freemium model, with free sign-up and creator exploration. The free access has no stated trial duration; its Free plan is free and includes 8 AI scripts per month and 3 AI mashup credits per month. That is useful for limited exploration, but the monthly credits cap how much script and mashup work can be done without moving to a paid option.

Video ads: 99.00 USD per month, billed From $99 per video. It offers pay-per-video creator content, prepaid packs and balance, and no mandatory subscription for the base product. It fits brands that want to commission content without subscribing to CreativeOps; its cost scales with video orders.
CreativeOps Launch: 500.00 USD per month, billed $300/month for the first 3 months, then $500/month. It includes 40 AI scripts and 15 AI mashup credits per month. This is the higher-capacity option for teams using CreativeOps regularly; it costs substantially more than the free allowance and still requires an ad account for full feature access.
Managed Service: 2000.00 USD per month, billed Starts at $2,000/month, with pricing tailored to task volume and needs. It includes a dedicated team, creator sourcing, brief writing and management, post-production, and a dedicated Slack channel. It is aimed at brands wanting production support rather than handling each step themselves.

Platforms

Billo runs on Android, iOS, and the web. Its partnership-ad options cover Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads.

Who it's for

Billo describes its brand offering for e-commerce, digital products, apps, services, tools, and B2B businesses. It is most relevant to teams that can use creator content in advertising and want production, creative iteration, and performance analysis in one workflow. Brands that do not want to connect an ad account can still explore creators and commission content, but cannot unlock all CreativeOps features.

Pros and cons

Pros: Creator sourcing, video and photo production, rights management, and approvals sit alongside performance tools, reducing the need to separate production from creative analysis.
Pros: Free access includes recurring script and mashup credits, making it possible to explore some CreativeOps work before taking on a paid plan.
Cons: Video charges are upfront, and delivery typically takes 7 to 12 business days after product delivery to the creator, so it is not an immediate-content option.
Cons: Full CreativeOps access requires an ad-account connection, which may not suit brands that prefer not to connect advertising accounts.

Alternatives

For a broader directory of creator-content services, compare the UGC Platforms list; for campaigns centered on influencer relationships, browse Influencer Marketing Platforms.

JoinBrands is another freemium creator platform, with a free pay-as-you-go option and Android, iOS, and web support. Consider it if that pricing structure better fits your creator-content workflow.

EmbedSocial and Taggbox are freemium options with web and API support; choose between them if those platforms and their feed or widget plans better match your needs. Yotpo Reviews offers a freemium web/API product, while EnTribe offers services currently free of charge, with terms reserving a right to charge in future.

Insense is a paid alternative with a trial and web, iOS, and Android support. Catch+Release offers free platform access with payment to license content, while Flockler is a paid web/API option with a trial.

Verdict

Choose Billo if your brand needs a route from creator sourcing through ad production and performance-led creative iteration, and can budget for upfront video orders or a recurring CreativeOps plan. Look elsewhere if you need immediate delivery, do not want to connect an ad account for full creative analytics, or want a content workflow without per-video upfront charges.
