Overview

Routific is built for delivery businesses coordinating daily work across drivers, from food and grocery operators to couriers, farms, and florists. It suits teams that need dispatch and customer visibility alongside route planning. Its most persuasive advantage is the connected delivery workflow; the 100-order free-plan cap and $150 paid entry point make volume a key part of the decision.

Key features

The optimizer weighs driver preferences, business priorities, and traffic patterns, rather than treating route planning as a shortest-path exercise. Dispatchers can move stops on a map or timeline and add late deliveries, which is useful when plans change after routes are built. Time-window planning, recurring routes, and automatic reoptimization help with repeat schedules and operational changes. The 1,000-stop maximum is a meaningful ceiling for larger workloads.

Drivers receive routes and delivery instructions in a mobile app, with navigation through Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps. Live GPS tracking provides driver locations and updated ETAs; Routific says tracking is limited to working hours. Automated tracker links let customers follow an approaching driver, with a completion notification at delivery. Email notifications are included, but SMS is an add-on available for a quote, so businesses that rely on text updates should account for that extra cost.

Drivers can collect signatures and multiple photos as proof of delivery, giving teams an audit trail and evidence for disputes. APIs and real-time webhook events support integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Zoho, and BigCommerce; the Shopify integration is two-way. Routific's privacy policy describes US data hosting, SSL-secured communication, and salted password hashes, while cautioning that absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and covers up to 100 orders a month, with all features except SMS notifications. That makes it a useful way for a small operation to start without giving up core functionality, but the cap will quickly rule it out for higher-volume delivery teams. A free 7-day trial offers a short window to evaluate the platform.

The paid plan is 150.00 USD per month for 101 to 1,000 orders a month. It is a substantial step up from free, but gives a growing delivery operation a flat price through its first 1,000 orders. Above that, monthly per-order charges apply: 0.15 USD per month for each order from 1,001–2,000; 0.13 USD per month from 2,001–3,000; 0.10 USD per month from 3,001–5,000; 0.08 USD per month from 5,001–10,000; 0.05 USD per month from 10,001–20,000; and 0.03 USD per month from 20,001–50,000. The declining rates soften the impact of growth, but total cost still scales with order volume. SMS remains extra, and the support dashboard is view-only on every plan.

Platforms

Routific supports web, Android, iOS, and API access, covering dispatch work, mobile driver use, and integration needs.

Who it's for

Routific is a good fit for last-mile businesses that dispatch multiple drivers, need flexible route changes, and want customers to see delivery progress. Food, courier, farm, grocery, and florist operations are among the industries it targets. It is less compelling for occasional route planning or teams whose order volume makes the paid entry price hard to justify.

Pros and cons

Pros: The route optimizer accounts for driver preferences, business priorities, and traffic; dispatchers can adjust routes and insert deliveries when plans change.
Pros: Driver tracking, customer tracker links, completion notifications, and photo-and-signature proof connect dispatch with delivery follow-through.
Pros: Recurring routes, time windows, automatic reoptimization, and named commerce integrations support ongoing delivery operations.
Cons: Free use stops at 100 orders a month, and the paid plan starts at 150.00 USD per month for 101–1,000 orders.
Cons: SMS notifications cost extra, and the 1,000-stop maximum may constrain larger routing jobs.

Alternatives

Choose Route4Me if a lower-cost paid route-planning option matters more than Routific's broader delivery workflow: its monthly plan is 9.99 USD per month for unlimited stops, though its free plan is limited to 10 stops and routes saved for 7 days. Shipday is worth considering for a higher free monthly order allowance, with up to 300 orders a month on its Basic plan and a 14-day full-platform trial without a credit card. MileApp is another free-plan option. Onro is another option to compare. Fleetbase offers a cloud plan at 29.00 USD per month with unlimited orders and users, as well as self-hosted deployment. MaxOptra is another option to compare. OptimoRoute may suit teams looking for paid per-driver pricing, with its Lite plan at 35.10 USD per month billed annually and up to 700 orders at once. DeliverLogic is another paid alternative to compare. For broader comparisons, see Delivery Management Software and Route Optimization Software.

Verdict

Choose Routific if your last-mile operation needs route optimization tied to dispatch, live delivery visibility, and proof of delivery. Its end-to-end workflow and flexible route editing are the main reasons to pay for it; look elsewhere if the $150.00 USD monthly paid entry price, order-based charges, extra-cost SMS, or 1,000-stop limit do not fit your operation.
