Overview

Profit.co combines goal frameworks, employee performance processes, and portfolio and project tools. That scope can support organizations that want strategic priorities carried into reviews and day-to-day work, rather than maintained in separate systems. It may be more platform than a team needs if the only requirement is basic goal tracking.

Profit.co is made by a company headquartered in Plano, Texas, and was founded in 2018. It offers a 30-day trial, but no free plan.

Key features

Strategy options include OKRs, Strategy Roadmaps, Balanced Scorecard, and Hoshin Kanri. The range suits organizations with established planning frameworks or different approaches across teams. Buyers focused on a single, lightweight goal process may not need all of it.

Performance tools cover reviews, employee recognition, meetings, and pulse surveys. The platform also supports one-on-ones, review cycles, calibration, competency frameworks, and goal alignment. These capabilities make Profit.co relevant to organizations looking to connect goals with recurring people processes, not just record objectives.

Project Portfolio Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, tasks, and timesheets bring project work into the same product. That can help organizations manage projects alongside strategic priorities, though teams that already have a suitable project system may find this overlap unnecessary.

AI agents assist with drafting OKRs and goals, progress updates, performance reviews, project plans and status, and task summaries; they also support answers and transcription. These touch several workflows, but they do not change the need to choose the modules that fit an organization's processes.

Profit.co advertises more than 100 native integrations, including Jira, Slack, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and Google Sheets. A Custom Connector provides direct API-based access to application data, which gives organizations another integration route. Its stated security credentials include SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA. Every plan includes a 99.9% uptime SLA, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, and guided onboarding.

Pricing

Profit.co is paid software with custom pricing. Enterprise pricing is based on selected modules and user count, with a custom proposal; the Enterprise plan likewise uses custom module and user-count pricing. There is no published price to compare against a per-seat budget before contacting the company.

Enterprise includes a dedicated Customer Success Manager, guided onboarding, SSO, enterprise integrations, and a 99.9% uptime SLA. It is aimed at organizations that need those services and controls as part of a broader deployment. Since pricing depends on modules and user count, buyers should establish which capabilities they need before evaluating the proposal.

The 30-day trial gives prospective buyers a limited window to evaluate the platform, but there is no ongoing free tier for smaller teams or long-term use without a paid plan.

Platforms

Profit.co supports web, macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, browser extensions, and API access. It also offers desktop, TV, mobile, and tablet access. This broad reach suits organizations whose employees use a mix of devices, while API access and the Custom Connector provide options for connecting application data.

Who it's for

Profit.co is a strong candidate for organizations that want formal strategy frameworks, performance management, and project portfolio work connected in one platform. Its range of frameworks, integrations, and AI assistance is most useful when teams will use several of those areas together. Organizations seeking only a basic OKR tracker, or unwilling to commit to a paid platform after a short trial, should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pro: Strategy, performance, and project modules sit together, making it possible to relate goals to people processes and project work.
Pro: More than 100 native integrations and a direct API connector give organizations several ways to connect existing systems.
Pro: The 30-day trial, guided onboarding, Customer Success Manager, and 99.9% uptime SLA support evaluation and deployment.
Con: Custom pricing based on modules and user count makes costs harder to compare without an inquiry.
Con: There is no free plan, so teams cannot continue using a free tier after the trial.
Con: The breadth may be unnecessary for organizations that need only goal tracking or already manage performance and projects elsewhere.

Alternatives

For teams that need a free entry point, Weekdone has a free plan for up to three users with full features and live chat and OKR coaching/support. Perdoo may suit a small team wanting a free strategy-oriented option: its free plan supports up to five users and includes Strategy Maps, OKR and KPI tracking, meetings, Slack and Teams integration, and an AI Assistant and Coach. Both have free plans, unlike Profit.co.

ROKR is another free option, with a five-user, one-team plan that includes goals, key results, check-ins, and 5,000 API calls per month. Axiean offers a free plan for up to three users, including core OKR tracking and execution and 20,000 AI tokens per month. These plans may be a better fit when a small team wants to start without a paid commitment.

Futureworks is worth considering for buyers comparing published annual pricing by user band; its 101–200-user plan is €9.00 EUR per month, billed annually, with VAT excluded. Rhythms AI has a limited free plan after its trial, which may suit a reader who wants to retain some free access.

OKR Software Tools offers OKR and one-on-one meetings free for up to 25 users, then unlimited users for a flat $50.00 USD per month. OKR Studio has a free plan for up to three users with unlimited OKRs, two OKR cycles, team alignment views, and AI writing and validation tools. Either is a more focused alternative for teams primarily seeking OKR software. Readers comparing category options can also browse OKR Software, Performance Management Software, Goal Tracking Apps, and Meeting Notes Software.

Verdict

Choose Profit.co if your organization wants strategy, performance management, and project work coordinated in one platform, with broad integrations and an SLA-backed enterprise option. Look elsewhere if a free plan or a price you can compare upfront is essential.
