Overview

The API accepts resume data and returns structured JSON, with extraction across more than 200 fields and automatic language identification for resumes in 40+ languages. That breadth can help teams normalize applications from different markets, though the output still needs to match the fields their hiring systems use.

Supported formats span DOC, DOCX, PDF, RTF, TXT, ODT, HTM, HTML, DOCM, DOTM, DOT, and DOTX. The parser can also redact potentially biased information from 57+ resume or CV fields. Listed workflows include application-form autofill, scanned-resume and email processing, bulk parsing, duplicate checks, and taxonomy-based indexing in Solr or Elasticsearch.

RChilli says it integrates with HR systems and manages implementation and customizations, with integration possible within 15 minutes. It is also available through Oracle Cloud Marketplace, SAP SuccessFactors, and Salesforce AppExchange. That range is useful for organizations building into an existing stack, but the stated timing should not be treated as a guaranteed deployment schedule.

Key features

Broad extraction and format coverage: More than 200 fields and support for common document types, including scanned-resume workflows, suit bulk intake better than a parser limited to a narrow set of files.
Language handling: Support for 40+ languages with automatic language identification reduces the need to route documents by language in advance.
Bias redaction: Redaction across 57+ fields gives hiring workflows a way to remove potentially biasing details before review.
API and batch processing: Structured JSON output, API access, batch processing, and OCR support cover both integration and high-volume intake needs.
Privacy and compliance: RChilli says its SaaS Cloud parsing services do not store submitted data or personally identifiable information. It lists ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, PCI, and FedRAMP compliance for the parser.

Pricing

The free option costs 0.00 USD per free and includes 100 credits across all products, features, and plugins, 40+ language resume parsing, and 24x7 support. It is a useful way to assess the product, but the credit allowance is finite and the plan does not establish a recurring free quota.

Standard Plan (Monthly) costs 75.00 USD per month, billed monthly; Standard Plan (Quarterly) also costs 75.00 USD per month, billed quarterly; and Standard Plan (Annually) costs 75.00 USD per year, billed annually. All require select credits and include Parse, Search, and Index Documents plus 24x7 customer support. The annual wording is materially different from the monthly rates, so buyers should confirm the intended commitment and credit purchase before selecting a term.

The Incubator Program costs 150.00 USD per once, is valid for 3 months, and provides 3,000 credits for Resume/Job Parser, Search & Match Engine, and Taxonomy. After the startup plan expires, it renews at $75 monthly for 500 credits. It is aimed at startups wanting a defined initial credit pool, but the post-program renewal is an important cost change.

Enterprise has custom pricing, with scalable cloud and on-premise models, a dedicated cloud server, the option to host the API on the customer's own server, and premium support. It is the natural route for organizations with deployment or support requirements beyond Standard, though it does not provide a public price for budgeting. The pricing page advertises 24x7 support for free and Standard offerings and premium support for Enterprise.

Platforms

DiscoverCloud lists API, self-hosted, and web platforms. Enterprise customers can choose scalable cloud or on-premise pricing, and the API can be hosted on the customer’s own server. The self-hosting option matters to organizations with deployment constraints; teams wanting a simple published web subscription may find the enterprise-oriented hosting choices less straightforward.

Who it's for

This parser is best suited to job boards, enterprises, applicant tracking systems, and staffing firms that need multilingual or bulk resume processing, structured fields, and integration into HR workflows. It is less compelling for a small team with low, predictable volume if credit selection and the differing Standard billing terms add more purchasing complexity than the broader extraction capabilities justify.

Pros and cons

Pros: 200+ fields, 40+ languages, automatic language identification, and many supported file formats make it capable of handling varied application inputs.
Pros: Bias redaction, OCR support, batch processing, and indexing use cases extend it beyond basic resume conversion.
Pros: SaaS data non-retention claims, named compliance standards, and self-hosted enterprise deployment address privacy and hosting concerns.
Cons: Standard plans require select credits, and the annual price is expressed per year while the other Standard terms are monthly, complicating direct term comparisons.
Cons: The free offer is limited to 100 credits, while the Incubator plan shifts to $75 monthly for 500 credits after three months.

Alternatives

Resume Parsing Software is the broader category for comparing other resume parsers. Consider Doxis AI.dp if its Android and iOS support or pay-as-you-go free credit better fits your platform or trial needs. RChilli Resume Parser is another RChilli option with API, extension, self-hosted, and web platforms, plus a free offer that includes 100 credits, all document formats, 40+ languages, 200+ fields, OCR, and 24x7 support.

DocuShell Resume Parsing API may suit buyers prioritizing a free monthly allowance: it offers 500 credits per month but no API access on that tier, with file-size and page limits. Choose Parseur instead when its free plan’s 20 pages per month, one user, and 90-day retention fit the workload. Affinda Resume Parser is an alternative for per-document hosted self-serve pricing at US$0.10 per document and 1,000 free documents in the first 14 days.

Online Resume Parser offers a 500-credit monthly Starter plan for 24.00 EUR per month. Rezmatch.ai may be a better fit for a small screening workload, with 100 starter credits described as about 11 screenings and resumes up to two pages. For a published monthly CV allowance, CVParser.AI offers 1,000 CVs per month for 59.00 EUR or 5,000 for 129.00 EUR.

Verdict

Choose DiscoverCloud Resume Parser if your hiring workflow needs broad multilingual extraction, bulk processing, bias redaction, or enterprise hosting options. Its capabilities span more than basic parsing, but credit requirements and the unusual Standard billing terms merit confirmation against expected volume. Teams seeking simple per-document or fixed monthly pricing should compare alternatives before choosing.
