Overview

Sign.Plus is an electronic-signature service for sending agreements, collecting signatures and managing completed documents. It suits individuals and teams that need reusable workflows, bulk sending or integrations; the main drawback is that its free allowance runs to just three signature requests total.

Remote and in-person signing, signer-order controls and connections to common storage services give it range beyond basic signature collection. But the plan differences matter: regular users will quickly need a paid tier, and teams should compare user limits and template allowances before choosing.

Key features

Workflows and records

Senders can collect signatures remotely or in person, set the signing order and workflow steps, and receive real-time notifications. Sequential and non-sequential signing are supported, so the process can accommodate agreements where everyone need not sign in turn. Audit trails provide a record of document activity, a useful safeguard when teams need to track an agreement’s progress.

Templates and bulk sending

Reusable templates support fillable fields and dynamic variables, which can reduce setup for documents sent repeatedly. Bulk sending is available for distributing documents to multiple recipients. These features are most useful when the chosen plan has enough requests and templates to support the workflow; the free tier is too constrained for sustained use.

Integrations, security and compliance

Connections include Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Zapier and an eSignature API, alongside Google Drive, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Box and OneDrive storage. That breadth should help users bring documents into existing work and storage routines. Sign.Plus says it supports ESIGN, eIDAS and ZertES, including Qualified Electronic Signatures. It also says signed files use 256-bit AES encryption with unique keys per user, and supports TLS 1.3. Alohi lists ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, eIDAS and CCPA among its standards.

Pricing

The free plan is free and allows three signature requests total and one template. It is a starter option, not a recurring free workflow: those three requests are a total allowance, rather than a monthly quota.

Personal costs 9.99 USD per month, billed monthly, for one user, 10 signature requests per month and five templates. It is the straightforward fit for an individual with modest monthly volume, but the request cap rules it out for heavier use.

Professional has custom pricing and supports up to five users, unlimited signature requests and 10 templates. It suits a small team that needs more signing capacity but can work within a fixed template set. Business costs 29.99 USD per month, billed monthly, and Enterprise costs 49.99 USD per month, billed monthly; both include multiple users, unlimited requests and unlimited templates. Business is the clearer step up for teams needing uncapped volume and templates. Enterprise adds SSO, HIPAA compliance with BAA, PHIPA compliance with Agent Agreement, advanced security controls, data residency and priority support, making it the relevant tier for organizations with those requirements. The advertised 14-day trial offers a short evaluation window before committing to a paid plan.

Platforms

Sign.Plus is available on Android, iOS and the web, with an extension and API also listed. This gives users mobile and browser access as well as an integration route for software workflows.

Who it's for

Individuals and sole proprietors can start with Personal if 10 monthly requests and five templates are sufficient. Small and medium businesses with multiple users can consider Professional or Business, depending on template needs and price. Enterprise is aimed at organizations that need its additional controls and compliance arrangements. It is a weaker fit for anyone expecting a generous free quota or a solo plan with unlimited requests.

Pros and cons

Flexible signing flows: Remote and in-person signing, configurable order and steps, and real-time notifications cover different agreement processes.
Useful repeat-work tools: Templates, dynamic fields and bulk sending support recurring or high-volume document workflows.
Broad connections: Integration and storage options span productivity tools, cloud drives and an API.
Small free allowance: Three requests total and one template are unlikely to serve ongoing use.
Plan limits require a choice: Personal caps requests at 10 per month, while Professional limits templates to 10 despite unlimited requests.
Professional pricing takes comparison: Its price is custom, so teams cannot weigh its cost against Business from a fixed monthly figure.

Alternatives

Dropbox Sign is worth comparing if a free monthly allowance matters: its Free plan includes three signature requests per month, unlike Sign.Plus’s three-request lifetime total.

SignRequest is a possible fit for low-volume users who prefer a higher free document allowance: its Free plan includes 10 documents per user per month and unlimited signatures.

Skribble suits readers comparing per-signature pricing: its Starter plan charges by signature, with SES at €1, AES at €3 and QES at €5.

Signority API is an alternative to consider for API-oriented or self-hosted setups; its listed platforms include API and self-hosted options.

Jotform is worth considering when the work centers on forms and submissions: its Starter plan includes five forms and 100 monthly submissions.

sproof sign offers a private plan for individuals, students and associations, making it an alternative to compare for those groups.

Xodo Sign is another option to compare for API use; its free plan includes an API sandbox with up to two production API documents.

BoldSign may suit a solo user looking for a stated monthly free quota: its Essential plan includes 25 envelopes per month, two templates and one user.

Verdict

Choose Sign.Plus if you need flexible signing workflows, reusable templates and integrations across a mix of devices and business tools. Its strongest case is the combination of workflow controls and higher-volume team plans; its main reason to look elsewhere is the restrictive free allowance, especially if you want to keep signing regularly without a subscription.
