Overview

Sidekick can find times that work for its users and ask non-users to confirm meeting requests. It can also create calendar events, send invitations and send reminders before meetings. That makes it a stronger fit for people who want help with the follow-through, not just a page where guests choose a slot.

There are two routes into a booking: share a scheduling page, or forward a meeting-request email to start a process that checks availability, coordinates with the guest and can book an open time. The email route is useful for requests that arrive in an inbox; it does not replace the limits on how many sources and pages a plan supports.

Key features

Pages for different meeting needs

Personal and team scheduling pages can set custom availability, meeting permissions and preferences. A page can offer in-person, video or phone meetings, with guests choosing among the options provided. This is useful when the same person needs to offer different formats, though Hero's three-page cap may require careful allocation.

Email and calendar coordination

Forwarding an email starts a workflow that checks availability and coordinates with the guest, while Sidekick can create the event, send invitations and issue reminders. That makes it a sensible choice for inbox-led scheduling rather than requiring every guest to start from a booking link.

Integrations and data

The integrations page lists Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Thunderbird, Google Meets, Zoom, Teams and Office 365. The privacy policy says Sidekick may collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, calendars and calendar events. For Zoom, it stores authentication information and Zoom-generated meeting links; users can remove Zoom authentication in preferences. Sidekick says it uses commercially acceptable means to protect personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Pricing

The Hero Plan is free. It includes one connected source and three scheduling pages, with unlimited scheduled meetings, groups and contacts. Google, Outlook and Microsoft 365 are named among its source support, and Google Meet, Zoom, Skype and Teams among meeting options. Its open meeting volume is appealing for an individual with one source, but the source and page caps can constrain people juggling calendars or several booking purposes.

Superhero Plan costs 5.00 USD per month and includes unlimited sources and calendars, unlimited scheduling pages and Team Pages. It is the clear step up for users who need multiple calendars or team booking pages. Invited team members can join free by syncing their calendars, but only Superhero subscribers can create Team Pages.

Sidekick Business BETA has custom pricing and provides business logo support and a near-white-label scheduling experience. It is aimed at businesses that need branded scheduling rather than simply more sources or pages. A free trial is offered, but its length and terms are not established.

Platforms

Sidekick Scheduling is available on Android, iOS and the web. That gives mobile and browser access, while the connected-source allowance remains a plan question rather than a platform one.

Who it's for

Choose Sidekick if you coordinate with both users and outside guests, want email-forwarded requests to trigger scheduling, or need reminders and event creation alongside booking pages. Hero can suit a solo user with one connected source and no more than three pages. Users who need multiple sources or team pages should budget for Superhero. Sidekick is less compelling if a single-source plan cannot accommodate the calendars or pages a workflow requires.

Pros and cons

Pros: Email-forwarded meeting requests can initiate availability checks and guest coordination, reducing the need to route every request through a booking page.
Pros: Hero leaves scheduled meetings, groups and contacts unlimited, making its meaningful restrictions source and page counts rather than meeting volume.
Pros: Pages can accommodate in-person, video and phone meetings, and Team Pages support a shared team workflow on Superhero.
Cons: Hero's one-source limit may be restrictive for users coordinating across calendars, despite unlimited meetings.
Cons: Team Pages are withheld from free users, even though invited members can join at no cost.
Cons: Business branding sits on a custom-priced beta plan, so it is not a straightforward low-cost upgrade.

Alternatives

For a broader set of choices, browse AI Scheduling Assistants or Calendar apps.

Toki is worth comparing if Linux, macOS or Windows access matters alongside Android, iOS and web; its free plan includes up to three calendars and an AI scheduling assistant.
Remeet may fit a team looking for a free concierge onboarding session, with its free plan also including up to 15 users and one weekly sync hour.
CalendarBridge AI Scheduling Assistant is an option for someone who wants a 5.00 USD per month Basic plan with unlimited event syncing and up to 10 scheduling pages; it has no free plan.
Clara is a web-only alternative whose free plan is limited to 14 days and five meetings, while Standard costs 80.00 USD per month for 30 meetings.
Ari may suit an iOS or macOS user who wants a free allowance of 10 meetings total, one Google and one Microsoft calendar, and one booking page.
Kronologic is a web alternative with a free booking page, Google Calendar support and two meeting types; its Pro plan adds unlimited meeting types, reminders and follow-ups.
Schedly is an alternative if a free plan with one user seat, one service or event type, one location and one calendar connection meets the need for unlimited bookings.
DayOtter is worth considering for a free AI scheduling assistant with unlimited event types and booking pages, calendar sync, email reminders and group polls.

Verdict

Sidekick is a good fit for individuals and small teams who want booking pages and inbox-led coordination backed by calendar actions. Its strongest reason to choose it is the combination of forwarded-email scheduling, guest options and automated follow-through. Look elsewhere if the one-source Hero plan is too narrow and you do not want a paid plan for multiple calendars or Team Pages.
