Overview

Feeder brings user-selected sources into one reading experience, spanning blogs and news as well as weather, government databases, job boards, Mastodon and newsletters. That range suits both general readers and people tracking specialized topics. Keyword and topic filters, including keyword exclusions, help trim irrelevant posts; folders, favorites, collections and sharing give readers ways to manage what remains.

AI summaries and text-to-speech offer alternatives to reading every item in full. Feeder can also generate feeds for pages without RSS and provides an AI setup assistant. These tools broaden the product beyond a basic feed list, although summary allowances are capped daily and depend on plan.

Key features

Monitoring and organization

Following a wide mix of sources is most useful when readers can narrow the incoming stream. Feeder's topic and keyword filters, excluded terms, folders and collections address that need directly. Saving favorites and sharing content support keeping or passing along useful posts. The value is less clear for someone who only wants an unfiltered, minimal RSS reader.

AI and integrations

Summaries can make large reading queues easier to scan, while text-to-speech gives another way to consume posts. Generated feeds for pages without RSS can extend monitoring beyond conventional feeds. Professional includes software integrations, and Enterprise adds customized limits and administrative capabilities; integration availability varies by plan. Feeder has connections for MCP, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, Zapier and webhooks.

There are practical boundaries for builders: Feeder does not provide self-serve API keys. REST API access is available by request for app builders, and API access is included in Enterprise.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and permits 200 feeds, 50 posts of history per feed and two AI summaries per day. Feeds can update as often as every 30 minutes, but the default interval is every two hours. This is a workable starting point for modest monitoring, but the history cap and slower default checks make it less suitable for keeping a deep archive or tracking time-sensitive updates closely.

Plus costs 9.99 USD per month, billed Monthly. It raises capacity to 2,500 feeds, checks as often as every five minutes, and adds premium sources, a dashboard, rules and filters, and 10 AI summaries per day. It fits readers who need a larger source set and faster monitoring without the collaboration and integration package of the next tier.

Professional costs 19.99 USD per month, billed Monthly. Its 10,000-feed allowance and one-minute updates target intensive monitoring; it also includes collaboration, software integrations, RSS feed creation and 60 AI summaries per day. The higher price is justified chiefly for teams or users who need those capabilities and scale, rather than occasional readers.

Enterprise uses custom pricing, with customized limits, SSO/SAML, custom permissions, invoice billing, webinars and premium support. It is the tier for organizations needing administrative controls or tailored capacity. Monthly plans are stated as monthly billed; no free trial is offered.

Platforms

Feeder is available on Android, iOS, web and as an extension, covering mobile, browser and web-based reading. The listed delivery model is built-in. The platform mix suits readers who want access across devices, though no further platform-specific differences are established.

Who it's for

Feeder presents use cases for cybersecurity teams, marketing professionals, software engineers and financial services. More broadly, it fits anyone who must watch many kinds of sources, filter noise and keep useful items organized. Readers who only need a small, slow-changing set of feeds may find the Free plan sufficient; users needing rapid checks, collaboration or integrations have a clearer case for upgrading.

Pros and cons

Pros: Diverse source coverage includes specialist sources such as government databases and job boards, not just blogs and news.
Pros: Filters, exclusions, folders, favorites and collections give readers several ways to reduce noise and retain relevant posts.
Pros: AI summaries, speech and generated feeds address both reading efficiency and pages without RSS.
Cons: Free checks default to every two hours, with 50 posts of history per feed and two daily summaries, limiting its use for fast or archival monitoring.
Cons: Daily summary quotas remain finite even on Professional, and collaboration and software integrations require that tier.
Cons: Builders cannot obtain API keys themselves; API access requires a request or Enterprise.

Alternatives

For a broader set of newsletter and feed-oriented choices, compare the AI Newsletter Generators and RSS Reader Software lists. Choose AWeber instead when the need is newsletter sending: its free plan supports up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 monthly emails, rather than Feeder's source-monitoring model. Quaily is a free option for creators who want to publish and earn, with a 10% commission plus channel transaction fees after earning revenue.

DigestFlow AI is a more focused fit for generating newsletters from up to three RSS feeds and three newsletters per month on its free plan. E-Nuntii suits a topic-based newsletter workflow, with four newsletter slots, two topics and 25 archived articles on its free plan. EmailBuilder.ai is better aligned with email creation, offering a free playground with 10 emails, three templates and 50 AI Assistant calls.

Hanbai is another newsletter-oriented option, with a free tier for up to 500 subscribers and 1,000 emails per month. Reduce is worth considering for digest creation: its free plan is basic, while its 10.00 USD per month Starter plan allows five digests and five AI podcast episodes per month. DailyDraft is a newsletter alternative with a listed 97.00 USD per month paid tier.

Verdict

Choose Feeder if your priority is monitoring diverse sources in one place and shaping the resulting stream with filters, organization and AI reading tools. Its free tier makes it possible to start at no cost, while Plus offers a clear step up in source capacity and update speed. Look elsewhere if your main job is creating and sending newsletters, or if you need self-serve API access; Feeder is strongest as a reader and monitoring tool, not a general publishing platform.
