Overview

FotoJet brings together several common creative tasks: making collages, editing photos and designing graphics such as social posts, posters, cards and banners. That range suits casual and practical design work better than a specialist workflow. You can try the online service without downloading or registering, and the maker also offers separate Designer, Collage Maker and Photo Editor desktop apps for Windows and Mac.

The product spans Collage Maker Software, Photo Editing Software, Social Media Post Maker Software, Social Media Design Software, Poster Design Software and Print Design Template Libraries.

Key features

Collages and templates

More than 800 collage layouts and templates provide a broad set of starting points, and custom layouts let users shape an arrangement beyond the presets. Templates and resources also cover social media graphics, posters, cards and banners, making FotoJet useful when a project moves between a photo collage and a straightforward graphic. It does not make video collages, so it is not the choice for layouts built around moving images.

Photo editing and exports

The online editor handles crop, resize and rotate, with text, clip art, effects, overlays and frames for decoration. These tools fit routine adjustments and embellishments, especially when editing is part of a collage or design. JPG and PNG exports are supported, and watermarks are not a stated export restriction.

Projects, support and privacy

Plus adds advanced tools, custom canvas sizes, the ability to save and load projects, cloud storage, premium templates and resources, ad-free editing and priority support. The help center offers tutorials and FAQs, and accepts feedback and suggestions. FotoJet says uploaded and created content stays private to the account unless shared; it accesses that content only with explicit permission when resolving an in-app issue. Payment card details go directly to a processor, and FotoJet says it does not retain card numbers or other sensitive payment-instrument details. It also says SSL encryption protects payment information.

Pricing

FotoJet is freemium, with a free plan and a 7-day trial. Two free-plan entries describe basic editing tools and basic templates and resources; one also includes the free online collage maker. This is a sensible way to try basic creative work, but it does not include Plus’s advanced tools, project saving and loading, cloud storage or premium resources.

Plan	Price	What it includes
Free	0.00 USD per free	Basic editing tools, basic templates and resources, and free online collage maker
FotoJet Free	0.00 USD per free	Basic editing tools and basic templates and resources
FotoJet Plus Monthly	6.99 USD per month	Advanced editing tools, 500MB online photo storage, 800+ premium templates, 30+ premium fonts and priority support
FotoJet Plus Annual	39.99 USD per year, shown as $3.33 USD/month	Advanced editing tools, 500MB online photo storage, 800+ premium templates, 30+ premium fonts and priority support

Monthly Plus fits people who want the paid tools without committing to an annual term; annual Plus costs less per month as displayed and suits continuing use. The 500MB storage allowance is a defined ceiling for online photos. Plus subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled, and charges are non-refundable, so the trial and cancellation decision matter before a paid term begins.

The pricing summary also gives a paid starting price of $3.33/mo (annual), consistent with the annual plan’s displayed monthly equivalent. The maker says card details are passed directly to its payment processor rather than retained by FotoJet.

Platforms

FotoJet is available on web, Linux, macOS and Windows. The maker lists its three desktop apps for Windows and Mac; the online service can be tried without installation or registration.

Who it's for

FotoJet suits people who want an accessible starting point for collages, basic photo edits and template-led graphics, especially when several of those tasks need to sit in one service. Its large collage selection and no-account online trial lower the effort of getting started. It is less suitable for video collages, or for buyers who need more than the stated 500MB of Plus photo storage.

Pros and cons

Pros: More than 800 collage layouts plus custom layouts give both preset variety and flexibility.
Pros: Collage creation, basic editing and templates for social and print graphics cover several everyday design jobs.

Cons: Video collages are not supported, limiting it to still-image work.
Cons: Plus storage is capped at 500MB, which may constrain users keeping many photos online.

Verdict

Choose FotoJet if your priority is a broad set of still-photo collage layouts alongside basic editing and everyday template-based graphics, with a free route to try the online service. Look elsewhere if you need video collages or more than 500MB of online photo storage, and review the automatic renewal and non-refundable charges carefully before choosing Plus.
