Overview

GoThru combines a custom tour creator, a Street View publishing tool, a desktop 360-image editor, and a free Chrome extension for Google Business identifiers and panorama details. The breadth is useful for users who prepare, publish, and share 360-degree imagery, rather than those looking only for a tour display page.

The tour creator offers themes, plugins, multilingual content, a side menu, and usage statistics. Floor plan views, custom branding, and embed codes extend tours beyond a basic panorama viewer. The Street View Moderator accepts direct uploads or imports from Google Drive and Dropbox, then lets users connect images, preview tours, and publish to Street View. Its blur tool can obscure faces, license plates, and other sensitive details before public release.

Key features

Tour and Street View workflow

GoThru hosts tours, but custom tour links stop working when a subscription ends. Users can instead pay per tour or download and host the tour themselves; both options matter for client work or long-lived links. Panoramas must have a 2:1 aspect ratio and fall between 5300×2650 and 14000×7000 pixels, so source images outside that range need preparation before they fit the workflow.

Photo Studio and extension

Photo Studio is a freemium desktop app for viewing, organizing, editing, and publishing 360-degree images. Its free offering requires neither a trial nor a subscription, and it runs on macOS and Windows. AI editing tools can use a user's own API key, including an OpenAI key for tools such as Tripod Remover. Publishing destinations include GoThru, Panorra, and Google Street View.

The free GoThru CID and PlaceID Finder Chrome extension retrieves Google Business identifiers and Street View panorama details, can generate share links, and provides access to full-resolution panorama images. That makes it a useful companion for Street View photographers and local SEO work, even apart from the paid tour plans.

Pricing

GoThru has a free option, no free trial, and paid plans from $15/mo. The choice is less about a simple feature ladder than monthly tour volume, storage, and video quotas:

Plan	Price	Included limits
Pay As You Go	0.00 USD per month (billed $0 USD/month)	2 GB; Street View/Blue Line tours cost $14 USD/tour one time; tours with 4 images or fewer publish free
Basic	15.00 USD per month (billed $15 USD/month)	2 Street View/Blue Line tours/month; 100 GB; 360 videos 0/day; walkthrough videos 0/day
Pro	34.00 USD per month (billed $34 USD/month)	10 Street View/Blue Line tours/month; 100 GB; 360 videos 5/day; walkthrough videos 5/day
Agency	75.00 USD per month (billed $75 USD/month)	10 Street View/Blue Line tours/month; 500 GB; 360 videos 20/day; walkthrough videos 20/day

Pay As You Go is the economical fit for occasional publishing: small tours of four images or fewer are free, while larger Street View/Blue Line jobs are a one-time charge rather than a monthly commitment. Basic suits lower-volume users who need 100 GB but not video creation, since both video quotas are zero. Pro keeps the same storage allowance while raising tour volume and adding five videos per day in each category. Agency is aimed at heavier storage and video needs, with 500 GB and 20 daily videos of each type, though its listed tour quota remains 10 per month.

Platforms

GoThru is available on Android, iOS, macOS, web, Windows, and as a browser extension. Photo Studio specifically runs on macOS and Windows; the Chrome extension is the free CID and PlaceID Finder.

Who it's for

Street View photographers can use the Moderator to connect and publish panoramas, while local SEO specialists can use the extension to retrieve business identifiers and panorama details. Digital marketing agencies and business owners may value branded, embeddable tours with multilingual content; developers may find the publishing and sharing tools useful within broader 360-image workflows. The strict panorama dimensions make it a poor match for users who cannot supply compatible files, and subscription-dependent links are a concern when tours must remain hosted indefinitely.

Pros and cons

Pro: Tour creation, Street View publishing, desktop editing, and a business-identifier extension cover several stages of a 360-image workflow.
Pro: The Moderator's blur tool can hide faces, plates, and other private details before publication.
Pro: Photo Studio's free offering needs no trial or subscription, and supports publishing to three destinations.
Con: Custom tour links cease working after a subscription ends unless the user pays per tour or self-hosts.
Con: The required 2:1 panoramas and pixel range constrain which source images can be used directly.
Con: Basic includes no daily 360-video or walkthrough-video quota, so users needing those outputs must move to Pro or Agency.

GoThru's privacy policy says it uses physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards, and that data may be processed or transferred through third parties in other countries. Support includes email, phone, documentation, training videos, a forum, and weekly Hangouts.

Alternatives

Compare 3D Virtual Tour Software if you want to survey the category before settling on a specific workflow.

Asteroom is worth considering if you want a free plan and trial, or a Basic Plan that requires an Asteroom Pano Kit or 360 camera; its Professional plan is 39.90 USD per month for one user and 10 active tours.
Biganto Virtual Tours is an option if you prefer a trial-based paid product without a free plan; its Trial has 3 tours capacity, 5 tours/month, and 15 points/tour, with sharing unavailable after one month for new accounts.
InsideMaps may suit an iOS-and-web capture workflow where the app is free to download and project pricing depends on property size and package; hosting after the first year costs 5.00 USD per year.
Panoee is a freemium web and self-hosted option if you prioritize unlimited projects and tours, unlimited bandwidth, and 3Gb storage on its Free plan.
TeliportMe offers an Essential annual plan at 19.00 USD per year with unlimited storage and tours, which may suit users who value those allowances over GoThru's Street View/Blue Line tour quotas.
iGUIDE is a paid alternative with per-project pricing if you prefer project charges; its listed RADIX option has no floor plan.
Kuula is another freemium choice; its Basic plan allows up to 300 posts and a maximum of 100 uploads per month.
Matterport has a free plan for one active space and two users, which may fit a small, limited-space setup.

Verdict

Choose GoThru if you are a Street View photographer, marketing team, or business that needs a connected set of panorama publishing, custom-tour, and desktop editing tools. Its range and free Photo Studio offering are persuasive, but compatible 2:1 imagery is essential and hosted custom-tour links require an ongoing subscription unless you take over hosting or pay per tour. Look elsewhere if either constraint conflicts with your image pipeline or link-retention needs.
