Overview

Gurully combines full-length and section-wise mock tests with instant AI scoring, performance analysis and practice materials. It covers PTE Academic and PTE Core, IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training, CELPIP General and CELPIP General LS, and the Duolingo English Test. Score tracking, speaking practice, writing feedback and a study plan round out the individual preparation tools.

The company began in 2019, when founders Hitesh and Brijesh started a PTE practice platform with AI scoring. Gurully is headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Key features

Mock tests and scoring: Full-length and section-wise tests receive instant AI scoring and performance analysis. Free users get one scored mock test; Prime members get unlimited scored mock tests, with access depending on the selected exam product. The free test can provide an initial benchmark, but sustained scored practice requires Prime.
Practice materials: Gurully’s homepage describes more than 30,000 PTE practice questions, and Prime members get AI-scored access to those questions. This is most relevant to PTE candidates; the question-count claim is specific to PTE.
Institute tools: The IELTS institute product combines mock tests and assisted AI scoring with student management, tutor permissions, performance analytics, an LMS and white-label branding. IELTS institutes can book a demo and trial it with their own students before buying.
Privacy and payments: Gurully says it uses AES-256 encryption, encrypted passwords and files, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways, firewalls, intrusion detection, limited employee access and regular vulnerability scans. Its privacy policy covers account details, responses and test attempts, audio recordings, performance data and support communications. Payments run through Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal or PayTM; Gurully says it does not store complete card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV or other sensitive payment credentials. One material limitation: users who have attempted a free mock test or bought a package cannot delete their accounts.
Support: The pricing page gives phone support at +91 95120-40070 and contact through the website or WhatsApp.

Pricing

Gurully is freemium, with a free plan and a free trial. Free users receive one scored mock test. Prime membership lifts the scored-mock limit to unlimited, but the content depends on the selected product. The short access periods suit focused preparation near an exam; they are less suitable for learners who need an open-ended study term.

PTE Prime, USD: 9.00 USD per month, billed 7 days; 12.00 USD per month, billed 15 days; 16.00 USD per month, billed 30 days; or 26.00 USD per month, billed 60 days. Each provides access to paid exam-preparation content.
IELTS/CELPIP Prime, USD: 3.00 USD per month, billed 7 days; 5.00 USD per month, billed 15 days; 8.00 USD per month, billed 30 days; or 12.00 USD per month, billed 60 days. Each provides access to paid exam-preparation content.
IELTS Prime, INR: 200.00 INR per once, billed 7 days; 300.00 INR per once, billed 15 days; or 500.00 INR per once, billed 30 days. The 30-day option is marked Popular.
Duolingo Prime, INR: 550.00 INR per once, billed 7 days.

The INR IELTS and Duolingo offers are described as one-time purchases, while the USD options are presented as monthly prices billed over the stated access periods. Compare the exam and currency options carefully: the available products and terms differ.

Platforms

The individual platform is cloud-based and needs an internet connection and a desktop or laptop running the latest Google web browser. Gurully also lists PTE practice apps for Android and iOS. The browser requirement makes the web platform a poor fit for learners who need to do their individual preparation exclusively on a phone or tablet.

Who it's for

Gurully is a strong fit for candidates who know which English exam they are preparing for and want structured mock tests with AI scoring, analysis and practice support. PTE candidates have a substantial stated question bank, while Prime plans are available across PTE, IELTS, CELPIP and Duolingo offerings. IELTS institutes may find the student, tutor and LMS tools more relevant than an individual membership. Look elsewhere if you need account deletion after attempting a free mock test or purchasing a package, or if desktop access is impractical.

Pros and cons

Pros: Full-length and section-wise tests with instant scoring and analysis provide more than question-only practice.
Pros: Prime removes the scored-mock limit, and short access periods give exam-focused learners a choice of term.
Pros: The IELTS institute package combines assessment, analytics and learning-management tools, with a trial using the institute’s own students.
Cons: Free scoring is capped at one mock test, so the free plan is a sampler rather than a sustained preparation option.
Cons: Individual web study requires a desktop or laptop and the latest Google browser; the listed mobile apps are for PTE practice.
Cons: Users who have attempted a free mock test or purchased a package cannot delete their accounts.

Alternatives

DETPractice is the more focused alternative for Duolingo English Test learners: its free plan includes 300 practice questions with limited evaluations, while its 9.90 USD per month Basic plan includes 18,000+ questions and 10 AI corrections per month.

AlfaPTE is worth comparing for PTE candidates who want a free question bank: its free plan includes 20,000 practice questions, limited AI scoring, one full mock test, one sectional mock test and limited templates.

Cambridge Play is another freemium option for learners comparing exam-preparation apps.

E2Language is an alternative for learners considering course-based preparation.

IELTS by IDP App is an IELTS-focused alternative on Android and iOS, with free preparation content, quizzes, flashcards and test booking.

PTE Tutorials is a PTE option with free practice questions, model answers and mobile application access.

TOEFLMock is the relevant alternative for TOEFL candidates: its free plan includes the first full test and first test in each section, with no card required.

APEUni PTE is another PTE alternative, with a VIP plan offering unlimited speaking and writing AI scoring and unlimited scored mock tests during the VIP period.

Verdict

Choose Gurully if you want exam-specific mock tests, AI scoring and performance analysis, especially if a short Prime term matches your preparation window. The one-test free scoring cap, desktop-browser requirement and account-deletion restriction are real costs of the choice; learners who need mobile-first individual study or the ability to delete an active account should look elsewhere.
