Overview

Shoppers can rotate products, inspect angles, and place an item at true scale on iPhone, iPad, and virtually all Android devices, without installing another app. That gives merchants a way to answer visual questions a static gallery may leave unresolved, especially when room fit matters. Merchants can also match viewing experiences to products or variants.

The viewer starts when a shopper opens it, rather than adding viewer-related work to the product page’s initial load. Spellexo’s proprietary .spellexo format combines Gaussian splats, geometry, and custom shaders. Paid plans also accept .sog Gaussian splats and .glb models; the free plan accepts only .spellexo.

Key features

Interactive 3D and AR: Rotation and angle inspection provide more ways to examine an item, while true-scale room placement helps shoppers consider how it might fit. This is most persuasive for products whose dimensions and appearance in context affect the buying decision.
Product and variant matching: Merchants can associate viewing experiences with products or variants, making the viewer relevant to catalog items rather than a one-size-fits-all display.
Shopper engagement signals: Analytics and telemetry can track interaction time, zoom rates, and AR activations. Those measures offer a view of how shoppers use the experience, though they do not by themselves establish whether it improves sales.
Ecommerce integrations: Spellexo is offered as a Shopify app and WooCommerce plugin, a practical fit for merchants using either platform.
Content and privacy terms: Merchants retain their product content and grant the limited rights needed to provide the service. Spellexo may act as controller for its website and merchant relationships, or as processor or service provider for connected merchants.
Asset creation: Product asset creation is quoted separately from subscriptions, so merchants who need that work should budget for it outside the plan price.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and covers one product or variant, with .spellexo as the only accepted upload format. It is a contained way to evaluate the format and viewer, but not a meaningful catalog rollout.

Paid plans expand catalog capacity and accept .sog and .glb uploads. Starter costs 30.00 USD per month, billed at $30 monthly or a $28 monthly equivalent billed annually, for 40 products or variants. It suits a small catalog; the annual option lowers the monthly equivalent, while requiring annual billing.

Pro costs 70.00 USD per month, billed at $70 monthly or a $63 monthly equivalent billed annually, for 100 products or variants. Grow costs 120.00 USD per month, billed at $120 monthly or a $105 monthly equivalent billed annually, for 200. Scale costs 200.00 USD per month, billed at $200 monthly or a $170 monthly equivalent billed annually, for 500. These tiers make sense as catalog coverage grows; the key published distinction is capacity, not a different viewer feature set.

Enterprise has custom pricing, with custom catalog size, presentation, and service. It is the route for merchants whose requirements exceed the fixed tiers. No seat limits or trial terms are stated. Creation services remain separate from all plans.

Platforms

Spellexo is available on Android, iOS, and the web. Its mobile AR supports iPhone, iPad, and virtually all Android devices without a separate shopper app. Shopify and WooCommerce integrations provide the stated ecommerce connections.

Who it's for

Spellexo is strongest for furniture and home brands selling products where shoppers need to inspect shape or estimate room-scale fit. The app-free mobile AR and viewer that waits for shopper interaction are useful when a merchant wants richer product inspection without adding viewer-related work to the initial product-page load. It is less compelling for a broad catalog on a tight budget: Free stops at one product or variant, and meaningful coverage starts with a paid tier.

Pros and cons

Pro: True-scale mobile AR works without a separate app, reducing friction for shoppers who want to picture a product in their space.
Pro: The viewer starts on demand, so it adds no viewer-related work to the product page’s initial load.
Pro: Product and variant matching plus Shopify and WooCommerce support make the experience applicable to ecommerce catalogs.
Con: Free is capped at one product or variant and excludes .sog and .glb uploads, limiting it to a narrow evaluation.
Con: Asset creation costs extra, which matters for merchants who need help preparing product visuals.
Con: Annual billing lowers the monthly equivalent but requires committing to annual payment rather than paying month to month.

Alternatives

Product Visualization Software is a useful place to compare the category broadly. Consider 3DBAE instead if you want a free-forever hobby plan with 100 MB storage, one project, and limited model and environment assets. KeyShot is an alternative for readers seeking a paid product with a free trial and real-time ray-tracing preview alongside broad CAD format support.

Expivi is another ecommerce visualization alternative, with a free plan and a paid Business tier. Choose Mazing if its paid, trial-eligible offering and included AI model, lifestyle-rendering, and product-video quotas better match your content workflow. 3D Product Config is worth considering when configurable product experiences, conditional logic, and stated configurator and file quotas are central.

iC3D Suite is an alternative for packaging work on Mac or Windows with floating or concurrent-user licensing. INHAABIT is another paid option for Android, iOS, and web. Sayduck may suit readers looking for a web-based subscription alternative with monthly or annual billing.

Verdict

Choose Spellexo if you sell furniture or home products and want shoppers to inspect them in interactive 3D and place them at true scale through mobile AR without an app. The on-demand viewer and Shopify or WooCommerce availability strengthen the case. Look elsewhere if a single-product free tier is too small for evaluation or if you need product asset creation included in the subscription.
