Overview

Shipper TMS manages a move from order creation through payment, including electronic documents and real-time tracking. Carrier TMS and the Driver App handle loads, electronic bills of lading (eBOLs), inspections, GPS tracking, billing, and reporting. That breadth makes Super Dispatch relevant to both sides of vehicle transport, though the capabilities available depend sharply on the plan.

Key features

Carrier tools combine load management with eBOLs, inspections, billing, and reporting. Map-based schedule views and live location tracking support dispatch oversight, while the Driver App extends the workflow to mobile. Lite excludes GPS tracking and advanced reporting, so it is less suited to teams that need to monitor drivers or analyze operations.

Shipper TMS brings order handling, electronic documentation, and tracking into the shipment workflow. Shipper Pro includes personalized virtual onboarding with a dedicated specialist, a useful fit for businesses setting up a structured shipper operation. Its paid SuperProtect add-on surfaces carrier risk signals using account activity, FMCSA data, platform behavior, and historical context; it adds a risk-screening input, not a substitute for a shipper's own judgment.

Integrations include REST APIs, EDI with OpenText, Glovis, and ICL Systems, Zapier, and QuickBooks Online or Desktop. API access is subscription-based and can automate loads, drivers, statuses, and operational data synchronization, so API-dependent teams should account for that separate subscription. Super Dispatch completes an annual SOC 2 Type II audit by an independent AICPA-accredited evaluator. Data is encrypted in transit, and stored data uses AES-256.

Pricing

Carrier TMS Lite is free. It includes the Driver App, a limited Carrier TMS dashboard, and Super Loadboard. The free plan is aimed at single drivers and small owner-operators, but excludes advanced reporting, automated invoicing, GPS tracking, and integrations. That is a meaningful set of omissions for anyone who needs visibility or wants to reduce manual billing work.

Carrier Pro starts at $55/month per seat: the first seat is $55/month and each additional seat is $50/month. Its seat-based pricing makes the cost rise with the carrier team, so it is best suited to operators who need more than Lite's limited dashboard and excluded capabilities. Carrier Pro includes priority phone, email, or chat support from 7 am to 7 pm CT.

Shipper Pro starts at $159/month and includes two seats; each additional seat is $79/month. Monthly VIN limits vary by tier and overage fees may apply, so shippers should match the tier to expected shipment volume rather than comparing only the starting price. It is designed for shippers, brokers, dealers, auctions, and fleet leasing businesses, with personalized virtual onboarding from a dedicated specialist. SuperProtect is a paid add-on.

Super Dispatch offers a free trial as well as its free plan. The free tier is specifically Carrier TMS Lite; the paid starting price is $55/user/mo, while Shipper Pro has a separate starting price and volume terms.

Platforms

Super Dispatch supports Android, iOS, web, API, and an extension. The Driver App is available on Android and iOS, giving drivers mobile access alongside the web-based operation.

Who it's for

Super Dispatch fits auto-transport carriers and shippers that want tools spanning shipment administration and driver operations. Lite makes sense for a single driver or small owner-operator who can work without integrations, automated invoicing, GPS tracking, or advanced reporting. Carrier Pro is the more relevant choice when paid carrier workflows and priority support matter; Shipper Pro suits organizations managing vehicle moves at scale, provided its seat and VIN-volume costs fit the operation.

Pros and cons

Pro: Shipper and carrier workflows sit in one platform, from order creation and payment to driver load management and inspections.
Pro: EDI, REST API, Zapier, and QuickBooks connections can support integration with broader operating systems, though API access requires a subscription.
Pro: Annual SOC 2 Type II audits and AES-256 encryption for stored data provide concrete security practices.
Con: Lite excludes tracking, integrations, automated invoicing, and advanced reporting, limiting its usefulness as operations become more automated or visibility-dependent.
Con: Carrier Pro charges by seat, while Shipper Pro adds seats at $79/month and may charge overages against monthly VIN limits.

Alternatives

For a broader search, compare Trucking Software and Dispatch Software. Axon Software is a paid option with a free trial and Android, iOS, web, and Windows support. MendriX may suit buyers seeking a paid TMS with an Economy plan at 129.00 USD per month for order planning, billing, standard reports, and multiple users; it also offers a free trial.

TruckLogics is worth comparing for an owner-operator or leased operator looking at its listed 35.96 USD per year plans, and it offers a free trial. Diesel TMS is another freemium choice, with a free TMS Unlimited plan and iOS and web support. Numeo offers a free Spot Free plan limited to one seat and one MC connection, with Android, iOS, and web support.

TruckingOffice is a paid alternative with a free trial and an ELD Monthly Subscription listed at 23.00 USD per month. Degama DTMS offers a trial plan that requires internet access and a discussion with a representative about access and evaluation criteria. Ditat is a paid TMS with Android, API, iOS, and web support; pricing is available by contacting sales, with a personalized demo offered.

Verdict

Choose Super Dispatch if your business moves vehicles and needs shipper coordination or carrier and driver workflows in the same platform. Lite lowers the entry barrier for a solo operator, and the paid plans expand the operation with more support and shipper-side capacity. Look elsewhere if your workflow cannot tolerate Lite's missing automation and tracking, or if seat charges and Shipper Pro's VIN limits and possible overages do not match your team and volume.
