For an idea you want to capture and shape on a phone, Songen is the clearest fit here: it runs on iOS and macOS and can export editable MIDI, WAV audio, and separate stems offline. For browser-based creation with mobile access, Soundverse AI Beat Maker offers a multitrack studio across web, iOS, and Android. If your priority is moving generated parts into desktop production software, Beat Shaper offers DAW-oriented exports, but it runs in a browser rather than as standalone desktop software.
These options serve different stages of a music-making workflow. A phone is useful for capturing a hummed melody or starting an idea away from a desk; a larger screen and DAW-oriented exports can help when you want to arrange or edit parts further. The listed details do not establish which specific DAWs, genres, or mobile editing controls each product supports, so check those with the vendor before choosing.

Choose By Where You Make The Music
For Capturing And Editing Parts On Apple Devices
Songen is the most directly specified option for an idea that starts on a mobile device and may continue on a Mac: its listed platforms are iOS and macOS, and its focus is editable MIDI loops rather than only a finished audio song. A practical workflow is to sketch lead, chord, bass, or drum parts, arrange sections, then export MIDI or stems for further work. The listing does not specify which Apple devices or operating-system versions are supported, so confirm compatibility before relying on it for a session.
For A Phone Or Tablet With A Multitrack Browser Workflow
Soundverse lists web, iOS, and Android access, plus a browser-based multitrack studio. That makes it a candidate when you want to generate a complete instrumental on mobile and continue shaping it in the studio. WAV mixes, separated stems, and MIDI give several handoff options, but the listing does not establish whether editing controls are identical across phone, tablet, and desktop screens. Check the vendor’s current platform details if a particular device or control matters.

Beat Shaper is aimed at full beat production with DAW export. Its editable drums, basslines, synths, loops, and arrangements can be shaped with piano-roll controls; export options include MIDI, stems, and DAW project files. The product runs in a browser, so this is a browser-to-DAW workflow rather than a standalone desktop music app. Ableton Live project export and real-time MIDI require Producer, while Starter downloads are MP3-only and non-commercial.
For Starting A Song On Mobile And Revising It Later
Suno and Musicful both list web and mobile access and focus on complete songs. Suno lists editing, remixing, extensions, section replacement, and stem export. Musicful lists lyric edits, extensions, and vocal or instrumental stem separation, with MP3 and WAV downloads. The supplied details do not say that their mobile editing interfaces match desktop use, so confirm the specific controls you need before building a workflow around them.

- Capture the musical seed: On a phone, record or describe a short hummed melody, chord idea, or beat concept. Songen lists editable MIDI loops; Kuv Music AI Beat Maker lists beat drafts from hummed melodies and vocal recordings, but it is web-only. Check the current input method and device support before choosing either for a mobile capture session.
- Ask for a draft with concrete parts: For example, “Build a short instrumental around this melody, with a steady drum pattern, bass, and a contrasting second section.” This is a general prompt example; the listed details do not establish support for a particular genre, tempo, key, or prompt syntax. Verify those specifics with the vendor.
- Choose a handoff before you generate: If you need to edit notes in another music program, look for a stated MIDI export, as listed for Songen, Soundverse, and Beat Shaper. If you need audio layers, check which stem exports are available on the plan you intend to use.
- Continue at a desk when needed: Import the files into your chosen desktop music software and confirm that it accepts the exported format. The product details do not name compatible DAWs except for Beat Shaper’s stated Ableton Live project export, which requires Producer.
Check Rights And Plan Limits Before Publishing
Terms vary by product and plan. The supplied details say Suno’s Free Plan does not include commercial rights; Beat Shaper Starter downloads are non-commercial; Musicful Free/Basic use is non-commercial and commercial use is limited to Standard/Pro; Loudly licensing depends on plan terms. Eleven Music says commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV, and studio games. Read the current platform terms for your intended use, and get consent before using another person’s voice or material. The listed details do not establish permissions for voice likenesses, covers, or samples, so check each platform’s terms rather than assuming those uses are allowed.
For a free workflow, also check what a free plan permits you to export: Songen lists daily generation and export limits, Soundverse starts its Free Tier with 1,000 tokens upon signup, and Suno’s Free Plan does not include stem separation. Those limits can determine whether a mobile sketch can become an editable desktop session without changing plans.
