Murmur is the only listed option with evidence of both ambient styles and tempo prompts, making it the best-supported starting point for 50 BPM ambient. Its site says you can prompt with a genre, tempo, or sonic texture, and offers an Ambient preview. It does not establish whether the app can lock a track to exactly 50 BPM, so confirm the generated pulse before building a project around it.
What 50 Bpm Ambient Needs
At 50 BPM, a beat lands every 1.2 seconds. Ambient can use that pulse as a quiet anchor rather than a prominent drum groove: long pad tones, slow changes, soft attacks, and room for the sound to decay help keep the track spacious. A sparse kick or pluck can make the tempo audible, but frequent transients may make a piece feel more rhythmic than intended.

Be explicit about the pulse in your prompt. A useful starting point is: “Instrumental ambient bed at 50 BPM, soft evolving pads, slow harmonic movement, long reverb tails, no vocals, no drums, no sharp attacks.” If you want a subtle pulse, try: “50 BPM ambient, one soft low note on each beat, sparse high textures, no busy percussion.” These are prompt examples, not guaranteed Murmur controls or output characteristics.

1. Murmur — Best Fit For An Ambient Prompt On Iphone
Murmur is an iPhone generator for instrumental tracks. Its site describes on-device prompts using a genre, tempo, or sonic texture, and lists 170+ curated styles with an Ambient preview. That makes it a relevant fit for trying a 50 BPM ambient prompt, though the available facts do not establish a dedicated numeric BPM lock or a specific 50 BPM preset.

If exact timing matters for syncing to video or a game, verify the tempo in your editing workflow; Murmur’s listed details do not say that generated tracks can be measured or corrected to an exact BPM.
Murmur is free to start with core presets, unlimited generations, and a fixed track length. Its site lists Murmur Pro at €14.99 once, with unlimited length, all 170+ presets, and custom scene prompts. Check the vendor’s site for current terms and details before purchase.

What To Verify Before Using The Track
- Confirm the generated music holds a 50 BPM pulse; a tempo prompt alone does not establish exact BPM control.
- Check that the track length suits the edit. The free tier is described as having a fixed track length; Murmur Pro lists unlimited length.
- Preview the result for drum hits, sharp attacks, or rapid changes that work against a slow ambient bed.
- Check Murmur’s current terms for your intended commercial use and any material you supply.
