Eleven Music is the strongest choice for producer-style Afro-trap work, while Rewind AI Beat Maker is the better low-cost option for quick, mobile beats. Both have evidence for the two ingredients you need: Afrobeat or afrobeats and trap-oriented styles. Your results still depend on the prompt, arrangement choices and any vocal or audio material you provide.
What An Afro-Trap Generator Needs
Afro-trap typically pairs Afrobeat’s Nigerian or Ghanaian rhythmic feel with trap’s 808-led low end and busy hi-hats. A useful generator therefore needs controllable rhythm, tempo and structure rather than a vague “urban” prompt. Ask for the Afrobeat groove first, then specify trap drums, bass behavior, mood, instrumentation and song sections.

Use a prompt such as: “Afro-trap, syncopated Afrobeat percussion, deep 808 bass, crisp trap hi-hats, 110 BPM, dark but danceable, intro, verse, pre-chorus, hook and outro.” Treat the BPM as a starting point; revise the groove and arrangement after hearing the first generation.

1. Eleven Music — Best For Detailed Song Control
Eleven Music ranks first when you want to shape a complete Afro-trap song instead of stopping at a loop. Its documented styles include afrobeats and trap soul, and it provides controls for genre, mood, instruments and structure. It can generate full songs with AI vocals, lyrics or instrumental tracks, then supports section editing, inpainting and genre transitions. Stems and MP3/WAV exports are available, along with audio references, custom fine-tunes and an API.
Build a track in stages: start with “afrobeats and trap soul, 110 BPM, syncopated percussion, 808 bass and tight hi-hats”; set the structure to intro, verse, hook and outro; then use section editing to change only the hook or drum density. If lyrics are part of the brief, Eleven Music supports multilingual music generation, including lyrics, vocals and arrangements intended to sound native to the language you write in.
The free plan provides 10,000 credits per month, but it is limited to personal use and browse-only Marketplace access. Paid plans start at $6 per month. Commercial rights vary by subscription tier, and the documented limitations exclude film, TV and studio games, so read the applicable terms before releasing a track or assigning it to a client.
2. Rewind AI Beat Maker — Best For Affordable Mobile Beats
Rewind AI Beat Maker is the practical pick for fast beat ideation on a phone. Its style list explicitly includes Afrobeat, described as Nigerian or Ghanaian, and Trap, described with 808s and hi-hats. You can describe the beat, choose a BPM and upload files. The available BPM choices run from 80 through 160, including 100, 110, 120, 130 and 140, giving you useful starting points for an Afro-trap groove.
Try a two-pass workflow: choose Afrobeat and 110 or 120 BPM for the rhythmic base, then describe “trap 808s, rolling hi-hats, syncopated percussion and space for a vocal hook.” Generate several variations, keep the strongest drum pattern and refine the prompt rather than assuming the first result has a finished arrangement. MIDI, stem export and arrangement workflows are not documented, so check the vendor’s current feature list if you need those deliverables.

How To Choose Between Them
- Choose Eleven Music if you need section-level edits, stems, WAV/MP3 exports, multilingual vocals or an API-driven workflow.
- Choose Rewind AI Beat Maker if you want a lower starting price, daily free tokens, explicit Afrobeat and Trap style choices, and web or mobile access.
- Check the terms before release: confirm the commercial rights attached to your Eleven Music subscription. For either service, use only voices, lyrics, samples and uploaded references you are authorized to provide.
A Practical Afro-Trap Prompt Workflow
- Set the rhythmic identity: name Afrobeat or afrobeats and describe syncopated percussion or a Nigerian/Ghanaian feel.
- Add the trap layer: specify 808 bass, crisp or rolling hi-hats and the intensity you want.
- Choose a tempo: start around 110–120 BPM using a value the selected tool exposes, then adjust by ear.
- Define the form: request an intro, verse, hook and outro; use Eleven Music’s section controls when you need targeted revisions.
- State the deliverable: ask for instrumental, AI vocals, lyrics or a full song, and verify export and rights details before publishing.
Rights And Consent Checks
AI vocals and uploaded references can involve another person’s identity or creative work. Get the necessary consent before supplying those materials, and keep a record of the permissions. Eleven Music’s commercial terms depend on the subscription tier; Rewind states that generated content may be used commercially. Neither statement removes the need to follow each service’s current terms for your specific release.
