For an editable West Coast rap beat, Songen is the closest fit: it names Westcoast Rap as a style and generates MIDI loops you can shape part by part. AIRAP also names West Coast Rap, but it generates a complete track with vocals and a mix, so it suits a finished-song starting point more than a beat-only workflow.
What A West Coast Beat Needs
A useful West Coast beat usually leaves space for the rapper while giving the rhythm a relaxed, bouncing feel. The bass line and drum groove need to work together; melodic parts should add character without crowding the vocal. Those are musical goals, not guaranteed presets or controls in either product. The available product details do not establish specific West Coast drum patterns, bass sounds, tempos, or arrangement conventions, so listen to each result and check the vendor’s current options before building around those details.

1. Songen — Best For Building An Editable Beat
Songen is the strongest match if you want to shape the instrumental yourself. Start by generating a MIDI loop in a Westcoast Rap style, then build the song part by part. For example, begin with a bass-and-drum foundation, add a lead or chord loop only if it leaves room for the vocal, and use section regeneration or piano-roll edits to adjust the arrangement. These are workflow suggestions based on its listed loop and editing tools; the details do not promise a particular West Coast sound or preset.
Its offline MIDI-first approach is suited to beat making on Apple devices. Songen says its generated beats are royalty-free and can be sold, licensed, or released without clearance, attribution, or extra fees. Confirm the current terms for your specific use, especially if you add material from elsewhere.

2. AIRAP — Best For A Fast Vocal Track Draft
AIRAP explicitly lists West Coast Rap and generates the beat, vocals, and mix together. Its stated workflow is to preview the mastered song, regenerate takes as credits allow, and download the audio when generation finishes; the vendor says this takes under 90 seconds. That makes it relevant when you want a complete vocal-track draft, but the available details do not establish editable MIDI, separate stems, instrumental-only output, or controls for particular West Coast-era sounds. Check AIRAP’s site for those specifics before choosing it for a beat-production workflow.
If a generated vocal imitates or uses a real person’s voice, get that person’s consent. Check AIRAP’s terms for voice use, samples, and commercial rights; those details are not established here.
