Create a short, recognizable musical theme, then generate alternate versions for the opening credits and use the version that fits your series’ tone and title sequence. Start with an instrumental prompt if dialogue or narration needs to remain clear; add vocals only if the words and voice are part of the identity you want.
Choose A Tool For The Opening Theme
| Tool | What The Listing Establishes | What To Check Before Using It |
|---|---|---|
| Suno | Generates songs with vocals, lyrics, instrumentation, and production. Supports editing, remixing, extensions, section replacement, and stem export. Available on web, iOS, and Android. | The Free Plan excludes commercial rights and stem separation. Check the vendor’s current terms for rights that cover your series and intended release. |
| Eleven Music | Generates full songs with AI vocals, lyrics, or instrumental tracks. Supports section editing, inpainting, genre transitions, audio references, stems, and MP3/WAV exports. | The Free plan is for personal use. Commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV, and studio games; check the vendor’s terms for your specific series and use. |
These listings do not establish a dedicated opening-credits template, a guaranteed track length, or support for a particular musical genre. Treat the prompt examples below as creative directions to try, not as named presets or promised results.

Plan The Theme Before Generating
An opening theme has a different job from background music: it needs to identify the series quickly, work under a title sequence, and leave room for any spoken introduction. Decide what the audience should recognize on a later episode: a melody, a rhythm, a distinctive instrument, or a short vocal phrase.
- Choose a mood that matches the series, such as playful, tense, reflective, or adventurous.
- Pick one musical idea to carry across episodes. A simple, repeatable motif is easier to recognize than a prompt that asks for many unrelated changes.
- Decide whether the credits need vocals. If the sequence includes speech, ask for an instrumental arrangement or leave space for the voice.
- Note the approximate duration your edit needs. The supplied product details do not establish a fixed intro-song length, so plan to trim or arrange the generated result in your video editor.
Create And Refine The Song
- Write a specific brief. Describe the series mood, the intended opening-credits use, the sound you want to foreground, whether it should be instrumental or vocal, and how the ending should feel. For example: “Opening theme for a thoughtful science series; warm, curious mood; a clear repeating piano motif with light percussion; instrumental; build gently, then finish with a clean musical ending.” This is a prompt example, not a claim that either service offers a piano or credits preset.
- Generate a first version. Enter the brief in Suno or Eleven Music. If the result is too busy for titles or dialogue, simplify the brief and ask for fewer competing musical ideas. If it feels too generic, make the motif or mood more specific.
- Make one change at a time. Try a version with a different mood, a different lead sound, or vocals instead of instrumental music. Changing one direction per attempt makes it easier to identify what improves the fit. Suno lists editing, remixing, extensions, and section replacement; Eleven Music lists section editing and inpainting. Use only the controls available in your account.
- Check the beginning and ending in your edit. Place the candidate against the actual title sequence. Listen for an opening that starts too late, an ending that feels abrupt, or a melody that competes with names or narration. The listings do not promise automatic synchronization to picture, so adjust timing in your video editor.
- Prepare the version you will publish. Export an available audio file or stem if your plan supports it, then mix and trim it in your usual video workflow. Eleven Music lists MP3/WAV exports and stems; Suno lists stem export, but its Free Plan does not include stem separation. Check the current plan details for export access and limits.
- Confirm usage terms. Before publishing, check the selected plan’s current license terms for your platform, audience, and whether the series is monetized. Use only lyrics, voice references, or audio references you have permission to use, and check each service’s rules for those inputs. The supplied details do not establish universal commercial permission.

If a prompt names an instrument or genre, check the generated audio rather than assuming the tool will follow it precisely. Keep the strongest musical idea and revise the rest around the title sequence.
