Improve an AI-generated song by identifying one audible problem at a time, revising the relevant section or stem, then balancing and mastering the finished mix. Start with the song’s weakest element—such as muddy vocals, crowded drums, or an abrupt ending—and use tools that address that specific issue instead of regenerating the whole track.
What To Fix Before You Edit
Listen once without stopping, then again with notes. Mark the timestamp and describe what you hear in plain language: “the vocal is hard to understand when the drums enter” is more useful than “the mix sounds bad.” Decide whether the problem is in the writing or arrangement, a particular sound, the balance between parts, or the final loudness and tone.

Separate Parts To Find And Fix The Problem
Choose A Stem Splitter For Your Edit
If you need to hear whether the problem is in the vocal, drums, bass, or instrumental backing, separate the song into stems. Use Stems To Make A Specific Mix Change

Master Only After The Arrangement And Mix Are Settled
Mastering is the final adjustment to the complete stereo mix; it is not a substitute for fixing a bad section or a buried vocal. For detailed DAW-based control, iZotope Ozone supports major DAWs through AU, AAX, and VST3 plug-in formats. A Practical Improvement Pass
- Save the original. Keep an untouched version and note the timestamps of problems.
- Choose one priority. Decide whether the biggest issue is structure, a specific part, mix balance, stereo image, or mastering.
- Make the smallest relevant change. Replace or extend a section in Suno, explore an alternate arrangement in AetherWave Music Studio, or separate stems with Moises or Fadr to diagnose a part.
- Listen in context. Compare the edited section with the surrounding song and check that the transition still works.

The conversation
