- Choose the target and workflow. Decide whether you need a full song sketch, an instrumental, or parts to arrange in a digital audio workstation (DAW). For editable beat construction and DAW project options, start with Beat Shaper. For an instrumental with stems or MIDI editing, choose Soundverse AI Beat Maker. For a whole-song draft, use Suno or Eleven Music.
- Write a focused prompt. Specify the electronic subgenre, mood, energy, whether you want vocals, and the song sections you want. For example: “Instrumental melodic house, bright and driving, four-on-the-floor kick, rising build, wide synth drop, short breakdown, clean outro.” Treat this as a starting brief; refine the wording after hearing the result.
- Generate a few contrasting ideas. Use Suno or Eleven Music to create a full-track reference, or Soundverse AI Beat Maker for a complete instrumental. If you want to assemble the song from editable parts, use Beat Shaper to generate drums, basslines, synths, loops and arrangements. Keep the version with a clear hook and a drop that has room to grow.
- Lock in the groove. In Beat Shaper, use its piano-roll editing and controls for genre, mood, energy and syncopation to adjust generated parts. Alternatively, use Vibe Drummer for prompted drum patterns and export standard MIDI into a compatible DAW. Vibe Drummer is a free Mac drum-pattern tool, requires your own AI provider key, and focuses on patterns rather than full arrangements.
- Separate the parts you want to change. Export stems from Soundverse AI Beat Maker or Beat Shaper when you want to balance or replace elements independently. Suno supports stem export, but its Free Plan does not include stem separation. If using Eleven Music, its producer-focused exports include stems; check the plan details before relying on a particular export.
- Arrange the energy curve. Put the hook or strongest groove in the drop. Build toward it with a thinner intro, a gradual increase in density, and a breakdown that creates contrast. Use your DAW to move, mute or layer the exported parts. If you started with a full song in Suno, use its editing, remixing, extensions or section replacement to revise the draft before arranging further.
- Add vocals only if they serve the track. Suno and Eleven Music can generate songs with vocals and lyrics. Keep a vocal draft as a guide if you plan to replace it. Use only voices and reference audio you have permission to use, and review the platform’s terms for voice use, uploads and the intended release before publishing.
- Export and review the result. Use Beat Shaper’s available export options to move editable material into your DAW; MIDI, WAV, MP3, stems and DAW project exports are listed, with some options plan-dependent. Soundverse AI Beat Maker lists WAV mixes, stems and MIDI. Listen from beginning to end for abrupt transitions, crowded drops and parts that overpower the hook; revise those sections in your DAW.
- Check release rights before sharing commercially. Beat Shaper’s Starter downloads are limited to MP3 and non-commercial use; its Creator plan lists commercial usage rights. Suno’s Free Plan does not include commercial rights. Eleven Music says commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV and studio games. Soundverse lists commercial licenses for Creator & Pro. Confirm the current terms for your plan and intended use, and secure consent for any voice or audio reference you did not create or control.

- Confirm that your selected plan permits your release type and destination; licensing can differ by plan.
- Review the platform terms for generated vocals, uploaded references and any voice likeness. Get consent for voices or audio you do not have permission to use.
- Check the vendor’s current site for plan-specific features and terms before paying or releasing a track.
