A named real person’s cloned or imitated voice raises a consent and likeness question, while the song itself can create a separate copyright problem. If you do not have Pokimane’s authorization, use a voice you own or have permission to clone and describe a broad vocal character without naming her. Do not treat a disclaimer as consent. Writing “fan-made,” “not affiliated,” or “AI parody” can explain your intent to viewers, but it does not establish that you may clone or imitate the person’s voice. Use A Consenting Collaborator
A friend, vocalist, or commissioned performer can provide a voice when the project documents what is allowed: the song, the platforms, the duration, whether commercial use is permitted, and whether the voice may be cloned. A consented source voice still does not clear a copyrighted composition, so handle the song licence separately.
Write An Original Song
For the simplest rights path, write new lyrics and music, or use material for which you have the necessary rights. Then the remaining question is the vocal identity. - Choose the song first. Confirm that you wrote it or have permission to use the composition and recording. If it is a copyrighted track, identify the licence needed before publishing or monetizing.

Before posting, check the destination’s current rules for AI disclosure, impersonation, cover licensing, and commercial uploads. A platform badge or disclosure can improve transparency; it cannot replace consent or a song licence.

- Go: You control or licensed the song, the voice owner consented to cloning or imitation, your paid-plan rights cover the intended use, and the release label is accurate.
- Pause: You have a voice file but no permission to clone it, or you know the song is copyrighted but have not identified the needed licence.
- Change the concept: Replace the named-person prompt with a neutral vocal description and use an original or cleared composition.
For a Pokimane-themed project, the most defensible creative brief is therefore: an original or properly licensed song, a voice you are authorized to use, a style description that does not name Pokimane, and clear disclosure that AI was involved. If any one of those pieces is missing, pause the release and check the relevant vendor, rights-holder, and platform terms before publishing.
