CDS (Continuous Delivery Service)

What it is
CDS (Continuous Delivery Service) is a free, open-source platform for continuous delivery and DevOps automation. It is self-hosted, with Docker Compose and binary setup guides for running an instance. Workflows can coordinate builds, tests and deployments, with manual or automatic gates, rollbacks and conditional branches. The web interface lets users create and run workflows and inspect logs; the cdsctl command line can script platform operations and browse projects and workflows. Project users can manage pipelines and delegate access rights within their projects. Integrations include GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Gerrit, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Kafka, RabbitMQ, LDAP, OpenID Connect and Artifactory. Local, LDAP, GitHub and GitLab authentication backends can be enabled together. Users can create actions, and plugins support custom actions. Workers are compatible with Linux, macOS, FreeBSD and Windows on 386, amd64, arm or arm64 architectures. CDS lists API, Linux, macOS, self-hosted, web and Windows platforms. The Docker Compose tutorial cautions that its setup should not be used in production without modification.
