What it is

GRE POWERPREP provides full-length practice tests for the GRE, a single-exam preparation product from the makers of the test. The tests help users learn the exam structure and scoring, practice question types, use testing tools, and try strategies under timed conditions. POWERPREP PLUS Online simulates the exam and provides instant scores, answer explanations, difficulty insights, and scored sample essays. It also supports timed practice, navigation between questions, and answer changes within sections. Free options include one timed test and one untimed test. The untimed POWERPREP 1 does not provide Verbal or Quantitative scores; both free tests include scored Analytical Writing sample essays with rater commentary and a performance report. POWERPREP Online includes two tests, with no price listed. POWERPREP PLUS Online includes three separately sold practice tests at $44.95 a month, billed per practice test. Tests are accessed through an ETS account. Online accommodations include extended time, extra breaks, screen magnification, selectable colors, and compatibility with screen readers and refreshable braille. The product is listed for web, Windows, and macOS.
