Openlayer Guardrails
openlayer.com
What it is
Openlayer Guardrails inspects live AI inputs and outputs and can stop unsafe content before it reaches a model or user. Its target risks include prompt injection, jailbreaks, exposure of sensitive information such as PII and PHI, and harmful or toxic content. Organizations can tailor policies to their rules, including which sensitive-data categories to block and which topics an assistant should avoid. When a policy is violated, Guardrails can block or redact content, escalate it, or route it for review. Openlayer says inline detection covers more than 50 PII and PHI entity types. The product is commonly enforced through the Gateway and can also be applied through the SDK. Policy evaluations, actions, exceptions, and outcomes can be recorded with timestamps, system versions, owners, and traces. Deployment options include a customer's VPC and air-gapped environments; on-premise deployment is listed for Enterprise. Basic is free and includes one member, five projects, up to 20,000 inferences per month, and three months of data retention. Enterprise pricing is custom.
