RapidRead
rapidreading.app
What it is
RapidRead is a web-based RSVP speed reader that presents one word at a time rather than scrolling. Its pacing changes with the text: dialogue, names, and unfamiliar words receive more time, while easier passages move faster. The display avoids scrolling and eye jitter. You can import your own EPUB or TXT files; PDF support is listed for the roadmap rather than current support. An installable progressive web app works offline. Books remain in the browser by default. Pro cloud sync stores books, bookmarks, and progress in your private Supabase account and lets you continue across devices. RapidRead says it does not sell data or sell or lend titles. The Free plan costs nothing and includes base speed and colors. Pro costs $0.99 a month and unlocks everything else. Cancellation is available from the account page, with access continuing through the billing period; refund requests can be emailed within 7 days.
