What it is
RepoDitor is an unofficial standalone Electron editor for local R.E.P.O. encrypted .es3 save data. It runs separately from the game and does not require a mod loader or installation in the game directory. Desktop workspaces cover run overviews, player health, upgrades, supported run values, items, maps, and cosmetics. Item changes are limited to eligible exact-instance refill-to-full actions, while maps are discovery-only. Before saving, the app checks the source fingerprint and whether the game is closed, creates a timestamped backup, validates staged encrypted output, and replaces the source atomically. Parsing and editing run locally, and the renderer does not receive raw decrypted save JSON. The desktop app requires Windows x64 and a local R.E.P.O. installation and save. A browser version supports manual local file import and export but has fewer capabilities. Desktop downloads are available through GitHub Releases, Nexus Mods, and Thunderstore, with GitHub Releases identified as canonical. RepoDitor is free and released under the MIT License; desktop updates are manual.
