What it is

Revision World is a free web resource for GCSE and A-Level study. It provides revision materials, study help, practice questions, literature analysis, a planner and downloadable past papers. GCSE resources span subjects including English, maths, sciences, humanities and languages, with papers for many subjects available as free downloads. Logged-in users can add exams, track completed work, schedule study sessions and download a calendar as a PDF; the calendar can also be reached on a tablet or mobile phone. Registered users can save PowerPoint presentations, PDFs and images from download zones. Teachers may register at no cost to print, photocopy and use materials for teaching and non-commercial purposes when linking back from a school or personal website. The company says freelance teachers write the materials. Resources aim to cover key subject areas but are not aligned to a particular exam board or syllabus. The site launched in 2007 and is based in Cheltenham, UK.
