What it is

Storywish is a web-based platform for creating personalized illustrated children's stories and ordering printed picture books. Families can make characters from a photo, sketch, or description, then develop a story by typing or speaking an idea. A story coach helps shape that idea into a book. Stories can be narrated with word highlighting and edited page by page; users can adjust images through inpainting or regeneration. For a printed copy, they can preview the book, add a dedication, place an order, and track shipping through their profile. Storywish says its stories are designed for children ages 4 to 12. The free plan includes 3 stories, 6 characters, and 30 edits, with no payment required. Basic Monthly costs $10 a month and includes 20 stories, 15 characters, and 90 edits per month. Premium Monthly costs $45 a month and includes 40 stories, 30 characters, 130 edits, and one printed book per month. Storywish says uploaded original photos are deleted after conversion into text-based characteristics and are not used for training. It is built by Alo Stories Inc.
