1000minds vs Affinity Decision Support

1000minds provides software for decision-making, conjoint analysis, discrete choice experiments, and preferences research. Its patented PAPRIKA method asks participants to compare pairs of partial profiles, then adapts later questions to their earlier answers. Users can create and tailor a decision model, run it individually, with a group, or as a survey, and examine results with graphical and analytical tools. An AI assistant can help build models and generate ideas while the user remains in control. The conjoint and DCE platform supports surveys of up to 5,000 people, and the research platform plan includes unlimited surveys. The software can be combined with research survey panels and other survey tools; bespoke integration and development services can help connect outputs to applications or wider systems. The maker identifies 1000minds as SOC 2 and GDPR compliant and offers an EU application instance for EU data storage and processing. It offers a free personalized onboarding call and expert support, with on-call consultations for some packages. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Dunedin, New Zealand, the company describes use across government, business, nonprofit, health, academia, and consulting.
