Overview

Organizers can publish the app under their own name in the App Store and Google Play, as well as offer a web version. That branding can give attendees a dedicated event destination, while the product’s in-person focus keeps it distinct from a full event-management suite.

That narrower scope matters: event67 does not provide ticket sales, badge printing, exhibitor lead retrieval, video streaming, or algorithmic matchmaking. It can complement registration and event operations, but it is not a substitute for them.

Key features

Program navigation

A live, filterable schedule includes tracks and session details. Attendees can build personal agendas and RSVP for workshops, with waitlists for sessions that fill. This is useful for conferences with concurrent sessions and limited-capacity workshops; it does not extend to managing ticket sales or badges.

Networking and engagement

Attendees can search a directory, manage profiles, and connect face to face by QR code or remotely by request. Moderated Q&A, polls, crowd reactions, and session feedback offer several ways to participate during sessions. These features support discovery and audience involvement, but they do not provide automated matchmaking.

Integrations

The Partner API, signed webhooks, and scheduled data sources support reading event records, receiving updates, and importing partner data. Integrations require a paid organization plan, so the free plan is not the right choice for organizations that need those connections.

Pricing

The free plan is $0 forever and covers one live event with up to 50 activated attendees and the whole feature set. It is a useful way to run a small event, but the 50-person cap makes it unsuitable for larger audiences.

Event Pass charges $5 per activated attendee beyond 50, with the first 50 free. There is no event limit, and charges are made 48 hours after an event ends, capped at $4,750 per event. This suits organizers running occasional events who prefer attendee-based charges to an annual commitment; the cost rises with attendance, though the cap limits exposure per event.

For recurring events, annual Season Pass plans bundle attendee credits:

Season Pass Starter: $8,750 a year for 2,500 attendee credits.
Season Pass Growth: $30,000 a year for 10,000 attendee credits.
Season Pass Scale: $62,500 a year for 25,000 attendee credits.

All three annual plans let unused credits roll over for 12 months and charge $5 per attendee above the included credits. Starter is the lowest annual commitment; Growth and Scale suit organizations expecting higher volume and provide larger credit pools. Those commitments make less sense for occasional or unpredictable use, particularly if credits go unused beyond the rollover period. There is no free trial.

Platforms

event67 supports Android, iOS, web, and an API. Its in-person event mode is the relevant constraint for organizers seeking a companion experience for physical conferences rather than video-based events.

Who it's for

Choose event67 when attendees need a branded place to navigate a conference, connect with one another, and take part in sessions. It is a better fit for organizers who already have separate systems for ticketing and event operations than for teams seeking a single platform to run the entire event.

The maker says traffic is served over HTTPS, authentication uses Firebase, and the API is hosted on Google Cloud Run; data is processed primarily in the United States. It states that it has no SOC 2 report, ISO 27001 certification, HIPAA compliance, or FedRAMP authorization. Profile and event participation data remain until deletion is requested, with no scheduled purge, and attendees cannot delete their data through an in-app button. Organizations with formal certification requirements or strict deletion workflows should weigh those constraints. Support says it responds within one business day, usually sooner.

Pros and cons

Pros: The free plan includes the whole feature set for one event, making a small conference possible without an upfront charge.
Pros: Workshop waitlists, multiple session engagement tools, and in-person and remote connection options address distinct attendee needs.
Pros: Event Pass has no event limit and caps its charge at $4,750 per event.
Cons: The free plan stops at 50 activated attendees, and Event Pass costs scale with attendance.
Cons: Annual plans require substantial commitments and charge $5 per attendee above their credit allowance.
Cons: Ticketing, badge printing, exhibitor lead retrieval, streaming, and algorithmic matchmaking are outside its scope.
Cons: Data remains until deletion is requested, attendees lack an in-app deletion option, and the maker reports no major security certifications.

Alternatives

FairUp is worth considering when ticket sales and payment matter alongside chat and networking: its free Community plan includes those functions, while event67 does not sell tickets.

Handshake is a better fit for users seeking a talent-oriented service, with limited talent matching in its free Basic plan; event67 is centered on conference schedules and participation.

Eventus offers per-user pricing with the first 10 users free, which may suit a small group looking for that pricing structure rather than event67’s attendee-based event plans.

Talview uses tailored unit-based pricing with a typical minimum commitment of approximately 150 to 200 candidates, making it a candidate-focused alternative for buyers whose needs fit that model.

GradLeaders is another paid option in the recruiting events category.

EasyVirtualFair has a single-event license starting at $1,500, with the final quote depending on event scope; consider it if a quoted per-event license better suits your budget than attendee credits.

Guidebook offers single-event and multiple-event app plans with registration tools; it may suit organizers seeking registration alongside an event app.

Symplicity Recruit is a recruiting alternative with free and paid plans.

Browse Recruiting Events Software for more options in that category.

Verdict

event67 is a strong choice for conference organizers who want a branded, interactive attendee companion and can handle event operations elsewhere. Its free plan makes small events accessible, and its paid plans scale from per-event charges to annual credits. Look elsewhere if ticketing, streaming, certified security, or a full event-management suite is central to the brief.
