302 AI Podcast Generator
302 AI Podcast Generator is an application for producing podcasts with AI. It supports host dialogue and voice cloning, and can use pictures, text, links, files and web search results as source material. Basic tool usage is free. The wider 302.AI service uses pay-as-you-go billing without a monthly fee, and costs depend on the model selected; the FAQ states a $5 minimum recharge to use all AI products. 302.AI provides open APIs for connecting tools and models to applications or websites. AI Studio supports multiple models, including GPT, Claude, Gemini and GLM, with model switching and parameter configuration. It supports simultaneous use by multiple users. The service says robot information is stored locally without server-side retention, and AI Studio has incognito conversations with no saved history or cloud sync, deleted when closed. The listed platforms are Linux, macOS, Windows and web. Windows requires version 10 or later on x64; macOS requires 10.14 or later on Intel or Apple Silicon. The Linux client offers only .deb packages for Ubuntu and other Debian-based distributions. 302.AI says its services are intended for individuals, developers and enterprise teams.
Audify
Audify is a free, open-source application that turns PDF, DOC and DOCX files into editable two-speaker podcast scripts and downloadable MP3 episodes. It extracts document text and can use OCR when a scanned PDF yields little text. Users review and revise speaker turns, wording and flow, choose host and guest voices, and select conversational, educational or professional tones before generating audio. Ollama is the primary script-generation route, with OpenAI as a fallback; an OpenAI API key is required for text-to-speech, while Ollama is optional. The TTS service creates speech for dialogue turns, combines it into MP3, and supports playback and download. Audify uses FastAPI microservices with a React and Vite frontend and is orchestrated for local Docker Compose deployment. Its API handles uploads, generation, job status and downloads. Docker Engine 24.x or later and Docker Compose Plugin v2 or later are required. Uploads are limited to 10 MB, and jobs reset after container restarts unless storage is added.
