In their own words
360 Secure Browser
360 Secure Browser is a free browser available for Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows. The product describes a Chromium 132 kernel, cross-device sync, and extensions from its own store, which advertises more than 2,000 extensions. Built-in tools include an AI assistant, AI search, AI reading mode, image tools, a PDF reader, and a translation assistant. Login Manager can save and autofill passwords and generate strong passwords. The browser opens image, audio, video, PDF, and text files; extensions can add Office-format support. Its six described protections cover system files and processes, malicious websites and downloads, page sandboxing, crypto-mining scripts, DNS resolution, and isolation of pages, code, plugins, and CPU processes. The homepage also lists encrypted DNS and anti-tracking mode. A separate enterprise product offers centralized configuration, device and client-version management, browser policies, and data controls including watermarks, encrypted on-disk data, screenshot protection, download blocking, access controls, and auditing. Enterprise plans are priced per device: 基础版 is 58 CNY a year beyond 100 free devices, 高级版 is 158 CNY a year, and 旗舰版 is 258 CNY a year.
Comet
Comet is Perplexity’s AI browser, with an assistant built into browsing. The assistant can answer questions about open tabs, search the web and interact with websites on the user’s behalf. Examples include summarizing or explaining content, comparing tabs, drafting emails, scheduling meetings and making purchases. Perplexity is the default search engine, and Comet uses Chromium. It is free to download at free for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. Comet supports most Chrome extensions, though users must install and configure them again because extension data does not transfer from Chrome. The browser stores URLs, searches, cookies, open tabs and site permissions locally. Website credentials are kept in the device’s secure vault, not on Perplexity’s servers. Privacy settings allow deletion of browsing and search history, cookies and cached data. However, some queries may involve sending page context, including text or email, to Perplexity’s servers. Email or schedule tasks may require opting in to Perplexity Connector access; those permissions can later be changed or revoked. Comet says users can stop the agent and should review actions before confirming them.
