AppRemover
AppRemover is a paid module in OPSWAT’s OESIS Framework for developers and technology vendors embedding endpoint protection into products. It can remove more than 2,000 versions of enterprise and consumer applications, including legacy security software and unsanctioned tools associated with performance, compatibility, or compliance concerns. Removal covers registry entries, temporary folders, and files left after an uninstall. The module can handle cases where a password is unknown or an application file is corrupted, and it can run silently without end-user interaction. Developers can use command-line functions in scripts or connect through C++ APIs. OESIS Framework provides C++ libraries, a JSON input/output protocol, and sample projects in C, C++, Python, Ruby, and Objective-C. AppRemover is listed for Windows and macOS versions, including Windows 11 and several current macOS releases. Although Linux appears as a platform, the support matrix marks it unsupported for the listed distributions. Pricing requires contacting OPSWAT.
