Accessibility Test Framework for Android

Accessibility Test Framework for Android is a free, Apache-2.0-licensed library for automated accessibility checks in Android app testing. It checks Android View and AccessibilityNodeInfo objects, with missing contentDescription given as an example of an issue automated tools can detect. A sample runs checks across the view hierarchy beneath a chosen view using the latest check preset, and throws an exception when it finds errors. The project includes a Gradle wrapper and build.gradle file and can be imported into Android Studio. It is intended for developers who want to check how their apps are presented to accessibility services. Automated checks cannot settle every accessibility question: whether a content description makes sense to users, for example, requires human judgment. The framework is hosted in Google’s public GitHub organization. Although the platform listing includes Android alongside desktop operating systems, the stated purpose and checks are specifically for Android app accessibility testing.

Gitember

Gitember is a free, open-source desktop client for managing Git repositories through a visual interface. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux and supports clone, init, commit, push, pull, fetch, branch, merge, rebase, stash, and tag over SSH or HTTPS. Workspaces group separate repositories for shared operations and a combined working-copy view. To inspect changes, users get a commit graph, file history, unified, context, and side-by-side diffs with syntax highlighting for more than 40 languages, plus folder comparison. A visual three-way merge editor helps resolve merge and rebase conflicts. Search spans commit messages, tags, branches, paths, and indexed content from source files and several document types. Gitember supports pull request review for GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Cloud, and Gitea, including self-hosted Gitea, as well as Git LFS and submodules. Experimental local AI features use Ollama for secret detection and suggestions for branch descriptions and commit messages. Local repositories work offline; no account is required, and hosting tokens are optional for certain features.
