In their own words

AccioPix Photo Culling

AccioPix Photo Culling is a free browser tool that analyzes photo shoots and recommends picks, keepers, duplicates, and rejects with reasons. Processing runs on the user’s device, and the maker says photos are not uploaded. It accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, and RAW formats including CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, and DNG; RAW files use their embedded JPEG previews without conversion. The tool groups bursts and can identify softness, closed eyes when a better frame exists, blown highlights, and black frames. Optional people analysis checks face sharpness, closed eyes, expression, head pose, and skin exposure. Optional NIMA appeal scoring considers composition, subject, and light only when technical results are tied. Users can review by keyboard, inspect eyes at 1:1, and override results. Exports include XMP star ratings for RAW files, a keepers list, and a CSV with reasons. Chrome and Edge can write XMP sidecars into the selected folder.

Memory Ease

Memory Ease is software for wedding photographers to organize events, select photos with AI assistance, and share galleries with clients and guests. Its culling system assesses faces, expressions, and lighting, while photographers make the final selections. Photos can be sent from a camera over FTP during a shoot or uploaded by selecting a laptop folder. Selected images go into a new folder that can be opened in editing software such as Lightroom or Capture One. The Windows and macOS uploader keeps RAW originals on the photographer’s computer and uploads optimized HD versions for cloud processing; originals can optionally be sent for client delivery. Clients can review photos on phones, and guests can scan a venue QR code to find images by face. The service is also listed for Android, iOS, and web. Its desktop uploader requires 4 GB RAM and internet access, but no GPU. Active subscriptions include unlimited storage; delivered photos are retained for clients for life, while gallery links remain available for 90 days after an account lapses. A 30-day trial is offered, with paid plans listed at 7.50 USD and $15 a month.
