In their own words

ACNH Save Editor

ACNH Save Editor is a free, open-source Nintendo Switch homebrew application for editing Animal Crossing: New Horizons saves. It changes Wallet Bells, Bank Bells, Nook Miles, house-loan values, and pocket items across the game’s save files. A searchable database contains more than 13,000 items, while Favorites presents 22 curated entries in a paginated alphabetical list. Pocket tools can clear a selected slot and save or load up to five loadouts on the SD card. Before each write, the editor makes a byte-verified SD-card backup; ZL can roll back to the latest backup. It recalculates hashes and checksums and repairs hashes after modifications. Edits are capped at in-game maximums and operate offline on-console. Version 1.4.0 edits only the primary resident, Villager0. Installation requires Atmosphère custom firmware and launching through Title Override or a forwarder, with SD-card and DBI/MTP packages provided.

SaveEditor.net

SaveEditor.net is a free web-based tool for editing game save files, with current support for RPG Maker MV/MZ. Users upload a file, make changes in the browser, then download it for the game’s save folder; no software installation is required. The RPG Maker editor accepts .rpgsave, .save, and .json files, and can identify formats encrypted with some plugins. The homepage also claims support for RPG Maker, RenPy, and more, while the site says it currently supports RPG Maker MV/MZ and is working to add other formats. Instructions cover save locations for Windows, Steam, and Android through JoiPlay. The editor advises making a copy of the original before editing. Its privacy policy says uploaded saves are handled in temporary server RAM and wiped after processing or download, with no copies retained. The terms warn that save corruption or lost progress is the user’s responsibility and say the utility is unofficial and not endorsed by game developers or publishers. The maker describes the tools as intended for single-player game saves.
