Device recording supports Xbox and PlayStation, with capture cards from Elgato, Avermedia, and Hauppauge. Microphone and system sound can be recorded separately, mixed, or saved with another audio device. Webcam overlays can be cropped, resized, repositioned, and used with a green screen. Outplayed is a Windows desktop app for recording and clipping game footage. It captures gaming moments, supports clip editing, and lets users share gaming achievements. Listed capabilities include instant replay, multiple recording modes, GPU encoding, webcam overlay, and watermark-free video. The app supports more than 5,000 games and is made for desktop gaming rather than mobile use. It is available as a free download, but the free tier contains ads. Outplayed Premium is a subscription option that removes ads and unlocks premium features; listed Premium features include unlimited Outplayed.tv hosting, layout customization, enhanced fullscreen mode, and watermark controls for Editor projects. The Core plan includes three months of Outplayed.tv hosting. No prices are listed for these plans. Downloading Outplayed also installs the Overwolf Client.
