In their own words
Activepieces
Activepieces is an AI automation platform for teams building workflows and AI agents, with governance and security controls. Users can describe an outcome in chat and have the platform create a flow or agent. Flows support branching, retries, waitpoints, subflows, error handling, human approvals, and inline TypeScript. Its catalog lists 764 integrations, including Gmail, Slack, OpenAI, Notion, Google Sheets, HubSpot, and Salesforce; every piece is included on every plan. Activepieces runs in its cloud, on customer infrastructure, or in air-gapped environments. Connected apps can also be made available through one MCP server for clients such as Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf. The company says customer automations, runs, documents, and prompts are not used to train models. Free includes 1,000 credits a month and one user; when credits run out, further runs wait until the next day’s refresh. Plus is $20 a month, and Team is $200 a month. It is available through web, API, and self-hosting.
ByteChef

ByteChef lists 277 pre-built integrations across areas such as CRMs, communications, databases, file storage, and AI providers; APIs without a connector can be reached through its HTTP Client action. It runs in ByteChef Cloud or on users’ infrastructure, with self-hosting options including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and DigitalOcean. The Community Edition core and every connector use the Apache 2.0 license. Starter costs $23 per month for 5,000 tasks, one workspace, and seven-day log retention. Growth costs $135 per month for 5,000 tasks, three workspaces, and 30-day retention. Some capabilities, including role-based access control and single sign-on, are marked as coming soon.
