Admission.ly
Admission.ly is a web platform for international students to discover universities and manage applications. Its catalogue lists 1,005 institutions across 14 countries and 109 programmes. Search filters cover destination, degree, field, tuition, language, and intake; students can also compare institutions and search for scholarships. Where an application route is available, applicants can submit requested documents and follow status changes, messages, invoices, and decisions in one portal record. They can apply themselves when a form is live, or work with a verified partner agency or an institution’s admissions team. Approved agencies can submit applications, answer document requests, and review commission records. Participating institutions can maintain programme details, control application availability, request documents, and communicate through application records. The free Student plan has no platform fee for searching, comparing, or submitting where a route is available, though institution, tuition, enrolment, or service fees may still apply. The verified label reflects identity, authority, and content checks; it is not accreditation, a ranking, or an admission guarantee. Email support replies are stated within 24 business hours.
PhDportal
PhDportal is a free web service for finding and comparing English-taught PhD programmes at universities worldwide. Its catalogue lists more than 19,000 programmes from over 900 universities. Search filters cover subject, country, tuition fees, duration, study format, language requirements and university rankings. Users can save programmes to a shortlist for comparison, then connect directly with universities when applying. The service also supports scholarship searches and provides university pages with rankings, reviews, student life, admission requirements and tuition fees. Registered users can receive study matches, update preferences and keep a wishlist. Programme information comes from official university websites; some universities update listings directly, while PhDportal's data team curates and verifies others. Most programme pages are checked at least once a year, and tuition fees, deadlines and study dates are checked for unusual changes or inconsistencies. Students are advised to verify final details with the university before applying. PhDportal is part of Studyportals, whose operator is Studyportals B.V., headquartered in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
