In their own words
Adventure Academy
Adventure Academy is an educational online game for children ages 8–13, with learning activities in math, science, reading, and social studies. Children explore a virtual world, complete quests, and unlock new zones as they progress. The service includes thousands of activities, including games, books, reading materials, and educational videos. Progress tracking and standards alignment are listed, but there is no teacher dashboard or offline play. Up to three children in one household can play at the same time using separate profiles under one account. Parents or caregivers can set filtered chat interaction levels or block all in-game communication. The subscription has no advertising or in-app purchases. New subscribers can get a free trial with full access, but payment details are required at signup and trial length depends on the subscription selected. Plans cost $12.99 a month, $29.99 a month billed every six months, or $45 a year. Apps are listed for Windows and Mac desktop, iOS, and Android; Amazon Kindle and Fire tablets are unsupported, and touchscreen Windows devices are not officially supported.
