In their own words
Affordabily
Affordabily is a web platform for property managers operating affordable housing under HUD and LIHTC programs. It guides applicants through branching intake that gathers household, income, and document details, adapts questions to household information, and lets people save and resume from any device. Each household member can receive a secure link for submitting documents and certifications, which are combined into one application. The platform supports eligibility workflows, rent calculations, compliance reporting, resident portals, and preference-ranked waitlists with availability notifications. It describes support for HUD Handbook 4350.3 and LIHTC requirements, including income limits, student eligibility, and annual recertification. Automated reminders and document collection are scheduled 90, 60, and 30 days before an anniversary. Property managers can upload PDF forms and configure fields visually. Applications require human review. Audit logs record timestamps, users, and IP addresses and cannot be changed or deleted. Encryption, role-based access, SOC 2 certification, and HUD-aligned retention policies are stated.
