Afi SaaS Backup vs Salesforce Backup & Recover (formerly Own Recover)

Afi SaaS Backup is a web service for protecting Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 data. Covered workloads include Gmail, Drive, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. Automated backups run multiple times daily, with point-in-time recovery, unlimited retention and item-level or account restoration. Full-text search, content preview and offline export use native formats. Afi describes AI-based ransomware detection, preemptive backups, clean recovery-point labels and immutable storage. Security includes TLS 1.3 in transit, AES 256-bit encryption at rest and customer-managed keys through Google, AWS and Azure KMS. The service lists SOC 2 Type II audits and support for GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS. Storage regions include the US, UK, EU, Switzerland, Canada and Australia. The SaaS Backup plan costs $3 a month per user, starting from five users, with a 14-day trial.
