Overview

Agantty is a Gantt-centered project management tool for teams coordinating work across projects and timelines. It suits small and medium-sized teams that need a shared view of tasks, resources and workload. Its breadth of planning features is appealing, but the free plan's one-project ceiling and lack of team access make it a limited way to run ongoing collaborative work.

Key features

Gantt charts organize projects, tasks and teams along a timeline. Task dependencies and milestones help show sequencing and key dates, while resource management and a workload view bring assignment and capacity into the planning picture. These tools make Agantty more than a task list, particularly for teams whose work benefits from timeline-based coordination.

A dashboard gathers to-dos and lets users filter by project, user or timeframe. Drag-and-drop, rights management, email reminders and PDF exports support day-to-day organization and sharing. Calendar exports via links or ICS files can sync projects with Google Calendar, Apple iCal, Outlook and other calendars, though the FAQ says Agantty cannot process external data through an API. Teams also need to register every person who joins to share projects.

The mobile apps for iOS and Android support viewing and adding tasks and saving filter shortlists. Agantty says its servers are in Germany, communication uses encryption and 256-bit SSL, passwords are encrypted, and it performs backups and database copies. It also cites compliance with German BDSG data-protection regulations and ISO 27001 certification. Users who require self-hosting cannot deploy their own instance.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes a 14-day trial with all features. After that, it is capped at one project, provides no teams and includes no support. It is suited to an individual assessing the workflow, not a team that needs shared project planning.

Premium costs 490.00 EUR per month, billed per person. It removes project and team limits and includes unlimited tasks, CSV project-data import, project templates from a personal collection or the Community, tasklists via email and ticket support. This is the functional option for teams managing multiple projects, but per-person monthly billing makes team size central to the cost. The stated paid-from price is €4.90/user/mo; the Premium plan price is 490.00 EUR per month per person.

Platforms

Agantty is available on the web and lists Android, iOS, Linux, macOS and Windows platforms. The maker describes the product as web-based; the iOS and Android apps focus on viewing and adding tasks and saving filter shortlists.

Who it's for

Agantty is best suited to small and medium-sized teams that plan projects with Gantt charts and want task, resource and workload views in the same workflow. The maker also uses it to organize web-agency projects. It is a poor fit for teams that need self-hosting or API-based ingestion of external data, and the Free plan does not support team collaboration.

Pros and cons

Strength: Dependencies, milestones, resource management and workload views add useful planning context beyond a basic timeline.
Strength: Calendar export links and ICS files support synchronization with several common calendars.
Strength: Premium includes unlimited projects, teams and tasks, plus CSV import and reusable templates.
Limitation: Free allows only one project, no teams and no support, so it cannot serve as a free shared workspace.
Limitation: Everyone sharing team projects must register, and the FAQ says there is no API processing of external data or self-hosting.

Alternatives

For a different Gantt-focused option, compare Rillsoft Project, which has a free plan and trial and lists Linux, self-hosted, web and Windows platforms. Ganttic may suit readers prioritizing resource planning: its free plan includes up to 10 resources, unlimited users and projects, Gantt charts, reports and Kanban boards.

Ingantt is a paid option with a seven-day free trial that includes full feature access, AI project generation, MS Project import/export and Google Drive integration. Instagantt offers a free version for Asana with up to three projects and one user.

Open Planner Studio is a free, open-source option with no subscription or per-seat license fees. Visual Planning is a paid alternative with Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows support. OmniPlan is a paid choice for readers focused on iOS and macOS. GanttProject is a free desktop application for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Verdict

Choose Agantty if your small or medium-sized team wants Gantt-based planning with dependencies, resource management and workload visibility across desktop and mobile platforms. Its strongest case is the combination of timeline planning and team-oriented project tools. Look elsewhere if you need a free collaborative tier, self-hosting or API-based external data; Premium's per-person monthly price also deserves careful consideration as a team grows.
