In their own words
Ahenora
Ahenora brings household tasks, a family calendar, meals, shopping, and school paperwork together for solo parents, co-parents, and busy households. Tasks can have reminders and repeat as routines; the calendar can import Google or Outlook events. Families can plan dinners, request AI recipe suggestions, share shopping lists, and track costs by month and shop. A scanned school letter or appointment card can become a task or saved document, and household files can be kept in a private vault. Family messaging includes a parent in every private conversation, with optional private accounts for ages 13–17. Co-parents can set alternating-week schedules, add hand-off notes, and take up tasks started by the other parent. Tasks, meals, lists, and household membership can be viewed offline; offline completions are sent when the connection returns. Ahenora runs on Android, iOS, and web, in English, French, Spanish, and German. Plans include a free option and paid monthly tiers from €1.99/mo; the listed pricing note says paid plans start at €6.99/mo.
KIN
KIN is a shared family calendar for keeping household schedules together on Android and iOS. Family members can create or edit plans by holding to talk for voice input or by typing natural-language requests. The shared timeline combines events, reminders, to-dos, recurring plans, and assignments. People can filter the timeline by family member and apply privacy controls to individual events. KIN does not currently import or synchronize Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or other external calendars. Its privacy policy says voice and typed requests are sent to Cartesia for speech-to-text and Google Gemini for interpretation after in-app permission, with Groq and OpenAI listed as backup speech-to-text providers. KIN says it stores data with Supabase, uses reasonable security measures, and does not sell, trade, or rent personal data. It warns that speech recognition and AI interpretation can make mistakes, so users should check dates, times, recurrence, assignments, and reminders. The Free plan is listed at free, while future paid subscriptions or features may be introduced.
