Asigra Cloud Backup
Asigra Cloud Backup is a backup service built for managed service providers, covering virtual machines alongside physical file systems, enterprise applications, SaaS services, and databases. Its Tigris system protects VMs on Microsoft Hyper-V Server, VMware vCenter Server, and VMware Cloud Director; VMware VMs can also be replicated between two vCenter servers. DS-Client coordinates backup and recovery over the local network without agents on individual endpoints. A web-based management console schedules operations for Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, and VMware servers. Supported SaaS services include Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and Google Workspace, while database support includes Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, Oracle MySQL, IBM DB2, and PostgreSQL. Security features include NIST-FIPS 140-certified AES-256 encryption, antimalware scanning during backup and recovery, and access controls using multifactor authentication and multiperson approval. Tigris can run on Windows, Linux, or Mac and use on-premises or public-cloud storage. Pricing is on request; the subscription is pay-as-you-go based on protected source data, with no upfront investment, unlimited retention, restores, and clients.
