It adds a one-click generation control to individual media items and their attachment edit screens. Pro adds bulk generation and automatic generation when an image is uploaded. Generated text receives a length score from 0 to 100, with a sortable column in the Media Library for review. Model choices include GPT-4.1 Mini, GPT-4.1, and GPT-4o; language options include English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, or a custom language. During trial or Pro generation, image URLs are sent to RankPilotAI; BYOK mode can send them directly to OpenAI. Each API key is tied to the first WordPress site where it is used, so additional sites need separate keys. ALTification is operated by A Fine Studio in the United Kingdom. Its privacy policy says submitted images, prompts, and responses are not kept after generation and are not used to train AI models.
