ScribeLens

ScribeLens analyzes writing for patterns associated with AI-generated text and explains its findings at sentence level. Each sentence receives a human-like, mixed, or AI-like classification, while flagged sentences include keywords describing the detected pattern. Users can paste text or upload PDF, DOCX, TXT, or Markdown files; extraction occurs in the browser. A scan handles up to 40,000 words. Guest checks work without an account, allowing 2,000 words per scan and 3,500 words daily. For academic documents, reference lists, citations, DOI and ISSN lines, publisher boilerplate, and declaration sections are excluded from scoring and displayed in reports. Reports export to PDF or DOCX. Verification links point to stored copies that expire after 180 days; otherwise, analysis remains in the browser session and clears when the tab closes. ScribeLens offers web and API access, with API keys required server-side. Its detection is probabilistic, does not identify a model or check plagiarism, and is not standalone proof. The Free plan is free with 35,000 monthly tokens and seven PDF exports; Pro is $9 a month, launching soon.
